A liquid dispensing apparatus including a dispensing nozzle, end cap housing, lock-out mechanism, and dosage collar, wherein the lock-out mechanism is configured to prevent additional actuation of the dispensing nozzle and the dosage collar is configured to determine how far the dispensing nozzle may travel without resetting, which may allow the user to dispense a specific dosage of material to be dispensed via the dispensing nozzle.

A holder with a safety shield for a drug delivery device; the shield obstructing access to a needle of the drug delivery device following use thereof. The safety shield may be actively deployed, in which case the health care worker must perform an action beyond complete depression of the pusher into the body of the drug delivery device to deploy the shield. Alternatively, the safety shield may be deployed passively or automatically, in which case deployment of the shield occurs upon complete depression of the pusher into the body, with no additional action required of the health care worker. The safety shield is springloaded and released to its extended position by a mechanical coupling of a series of position members, including levers, formed on the holder and the drug delivery device.

A device for dosing and dispensing a dose of a non-liquid medicine that comprises a body connectable to a container containing an amount of a non-liquid medicine. When the body is connected with the container, an amount of the non-liquid medicine may be transferred from the container to at least one chamber defined within the body. In a preferred embodiment, two chambers are defined within the body, each having a different predetermined size (i.e., volume). A user may set the amount of the non-liquid medicine to be transferred using a plunger rod slideably located within the at least one chamber, or with each of the two chambers. A kit comprises the device and a non-liquid medicine that is readily dispersible in an aqueous solution suitable for oral administration, preferably a temozolomide formulation that can be titrated readily and accurately.

A holder with a safety shield for a drug delivery device; the shield obstructing access to a needle of the drug delivery device following use thereof. A handheld topical applicator. The handheld topical applicator is preferably adapted to release a precise amount of liquid onto a surface and is preferably used for various applications such as marking a surface and/or providing a proper amount of dosage for medicinal applications. The handheld topical applicator may comprise a liquid delivery system for dispensing a precise amount of liquid onto various surfaces, a projecting/retracting mechanism, and an audible and/or tactile physical feedback mechanism. The projecting/retracting mechanism may controllably retract or protrude a nib into and out of the housing, and the audible/physical feedback mechanism may provide either a physical and/or audible click once a desired amount of liquid transfers onto the surface.

A handheld precise liquid marker. The handheld precise liquid marker preferably creates a substantially perfect dot when marking one or more surfaces and is preferably used for multiple applications such as marking a dimple of a golf ball surface and/or providing a proper amount of dosage for medicinal applications. The handheld precise liquid marker may also comprise a liquid delivery system for dispensing a precise amount of ink or liquid onto various surfaces, a projecting/retracting mechanism, and an audible and/or tactile physical feedback mechanism. The projecting/retracting mechanism may controllably retract or protrude a nib into and out of the housing, and the audible/physical feedback mechanism may provide either a physical and/or audible click once a desired amount of ink or liquid transfers onto the surface.

Handheld precise liquid marker

A cost effective device for storing a fluid material, and controlling the amount of fluid material that will be provided on an applicator for application to a particular surface is disclosed. The device is comprised of few parts including an outer housing having a first chamber and a second chamber, a fluid insert, an applicator, and an adjustment mechanism. This makes the device cheaper to manufacture, and easy to assemble. The embodiments disclosed can be provided in a pre-assembled form to cosmetic companies and the like seeking to fill a dispenser with their fluid cosmetic products.

The present invention is related to a dispensing device. The dispensing device includes a container; a dispensing opening located at one end of the container; a plunger located inside the container; a push button associated with the plunger; and a drive mechanism configured to drive the plunger linearly inside the container from a first position towards the dispensing opening when the push button is pressed and to hold the plunger at a second position, wherein the second position is closer to the dispensing opening than the first position.

The base and case are telescopically mounted together and can be relatively reciprocated to retract and extend the applicator relative to the case. A piston is mounted in the case for outwardly urging the fluid.

Dispenser and method for dispensing fluids

The present invention is directed toward a cost effective instrument for storing a fluid material, and applying a predetermined amount of the fluid material to a surface. The instrument is comprised of few parts including an outer casing and a fluid insert, making the instrument cheaper to manufacture, and easy to assemble. The embodiments disclosed can be provided in a pre-assembled form to cosmetic companies and the like seeking to fill a dispenser with their fluid cosmetic products. The ability to provide dispensers in a pre-assembled form, combined with the compatibility of the fluid dispensers with industrial high speed filling machines, reduces the overall filling costs to the cosmetic company, as well as the cost to the consumer.

Fluid dispenser assembly

A medical device for delivering a medicament to a patient. The device includes a syringe barrel with a plunger having a hollow front end and a stopper positioned over the plunger front end to seal the plunger front end. The stopper is movably inserted in the barrel to expel medicament in the barrel. A needle cannula is fixed to a needle cannula hub and is movable between an initial position in which the forward tip of the needle cannula is exposed and a retracted position in which the forward tip is contained within the medical device. A plug seal releasably secures the needle cannula hub to an end of the barrel, and a hub adapter secures the plug seal to the barrel end. A cutter positioned on the plunger pierces the stopper when the stopper is pressed against the plug seal to open the hollow front end of the plunger. The plunger also engages the plug seal to allow the needle cannula hub to move, via an urging member, to the retracted position through the front end of the plunger.
