The present invention is directed to a unique piezoelectric laminate composite which enables the deflection generated to provide greater work energy. The composites of the present invention are fabricated as piezoelectric bender-elements having a mechanical bias or radius of curvature. More specifically, the composite fabrication method of the present invention uses pressure and temperature to bond and anneal a plurality of layers of composite materials including a thin strip of piezoelectric material into piezoelectric bender-elements.

The present invention is directed to a drive circuit including a triac which acts as a gate to a storage inductor.

Piezoelectric circuit

The present invention is directed to a piezoelectric unit cell. The piezoelectric unit cell comprises two piezoelectric mechanically biased bender-elements placed together end-to-end and held together at their ends, the two bender-elements being mechanically biased in opposite directions such that each element is in contact only at their ends.

The present invention is directed to an electro-motional device, specifically piezoelectric pumps. More specifically, the present invention is directed to various piezoelectric pumps such as diaphragm pumps, double acting piston pumps, peristaltic pumps or centrifugal pumps.

A method of fabrication of piezoelectric bender-elements. More specifically, the fabrication method of the present invention uses pressure and temperature, without any adhesive, to bond and anneal a plurality of layers of piezoelectric polymer film into piezoelectric bender-elements.
