A mobile transport system includes a drive unit having a first drive wheel rotatable about a first drive axis and a second drive wheel rotatable about a second drive axis, the drive axes extending in a transverse direction. The drive unit includes a swivel and a drive frame. The drive frame is pivotable about a steering axis relative to the swivel. The drive unit includes a marking carrier that is disposed in a stationary manner relative to the drive frame, and on which optically detectable markings are applied. The drive unit includes a camera for detecting the markings and is disposed in a stationary manner relative to the swivel.

Mobile transport system

A system, e.g., an installation, includes a mobile part that is movable along a coding region. A camera is arranged on the mobile part and is connected to an evaluation unit of the mobile part. The coding region has coded regions arranged successively. A one-part or multi-part cover covers coded regions, and has an opening through which an image of the first coded region can be taken by the camera. The evaluation unit is adapted to temporally recurrently determined the deviation of the first coded region with respect to the viewing direction of the camera and/or to the straight line, which is aligned in parallel with the viewing direction of the camera and passes through the central point of the image sensor of the camera, and/or to a reference point in the coding region and immobile relative to the mobile part.

Safety scanner tracking dangerous objects and dynamically switching protected field configuration

An optoelectronic sensor (), in particular a laser scanner, for a vehicle () which moves on a path () bordered at both sides, the optoelectronic sensor having a light receiver () for the conversion of received light () into electric signals as well as an evaluation unit () which is configured to determine the position of objects in a monitored zone of the sensor () from the electric signals and to recognize whether an unauthorized object is located within a protected field () dynamically changing in position and/or extent, wherein a safety output () is provided via which a stop signal or a brake signal can be output to the vehicle () by the evaluation unit () on the recognition of a protected field intrusion. The evaluation unit () is furthermore configured to recognize borders () of the path () from the electric signals and to fit the protected field () dynamically into the borders ().

Optoelectronic sensor

A method for the classification of objects () and/or the recognition of their position and/or their orientation in space is set forth, wherein measurement object data points of a measurement object surface are generated using a distance resolving receiver unit () and, with the aid of model object data determined in advance, hypotheses on the class, the position and/or the orientation of a measurement object () are proposed and verified from the measurement object data points. A plurality of different hypothesis tests can be executed cascaded in such a way that only on verification of a hypothesis through a hypothesis test is a subsequent hypothesis test carried out within this cascade, until either a hypothesis is falsified by the failure of a hypothesis test or a hypothesis is verified as a whole through a complete run through a cascade without falsification.
