A mount is provided for mounting a plate to a frame assembly. The mount includes a generally cylindrical head extendable through an aperture the plate and having an upper surface, a lower face, an outer peripheral surface, and a mounting rail receivable in a slot of the frame member of the frame assembly. The cylindrical head includes a bolt-receiving bore extending through the cylindrical head along a bore axis at an acute angle to the upper face that is adapted to receive a bolt therethrough. A flange extends radially extending from the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical head. The flange has a diameter greater than the diameter of at least a portion of the aperture through the plate. Tightening of the bolt captures the plate between the flange and the frame member.

A plate mount is provided for mounting a plate to a frame assembly. The plate mount includes a generally cylindrical head extendable through an aperture the plate and having an upper surface, a lower face, an outer peripheral surface, and an alignment structure receivable in a slot of the frame member. The cylindrical head including a bolt-receiving bore extending through the cylindrical head along a bore axes at an acute angle to the upper face. A flange extending radially extending from the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical head. The flange has a diameter. At least one spacer is positionable about the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical head at a location between the flange and the plate.

Plate mount

A corner assembly for interconnecting first and second frame members. A first plate member includes an outer face having a mounting rail projecting therefrom which is receivable in a slot in the first frame member and a bolt-receiving bore therethrough extending along a first axis at an acute angle to the outer face. A second plate member includes an outer face generally perpendicular to the outer face of the first plate member and having a mounting rail projecting therefrom which is receivable in a slot in a second frame member. The second plate member including a bolt-receiving bore therethrough extending along a second axis at an acute angle to the outer face of the second plate member. A central portion interconnects the first and second plate members and has a mounting surface and a bore extending therethrough. The mounting surface including an alignment rail projecting therefrom. A corner has a first sidewall configured to abut a terminal end of the first frame member, a second sidewall configured to abut a terminal end of the second frame member, and a mounting wall having a slot therein adapted for receiving the alignment rail of the central portion.

A mount is provided for mounting a plate to a frame assembly. The mount includes a generally cylindrical head extendable through an aperture the plate and having an upper surface, a lower face, an outer peripheral surface, and an alignment structure receivable in a slot of the frame member of the frame assembly. The cylindrical head includes a bolt-receiving bore extending through the cylindrical head along a bore axis at an acute angle to the upper face that is adapted to receive a bolt therethrough. A flange extends radially extending from the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical head. The flange has a diameter greater than the diameter of at least a portion of the aperture through the plate. Tightening of the bolt captures the plate between the flange and the frame member.

Mount

A fastening arrangement and method are provided for coupling a pair of frame members together. The fastening arrangement includes an insert receivable in a slot of one of the frame members. A fastener couples the insert with a receiver, such as a nut or a second insert, receivable in the other of the frame members. The insert includes a notch or similar indicator for indicating the appropriate depth to which the insert is to be driven relative to one of the frame members. The insert includes a threaded portion. The threads of the threaded portion are configured to be embedded into one of the frame members as the insert is driven relative to one of the frame members to secure the insert thereto.

Fastening arrangement

A corner piece is provided for interconnecting frame members. The corner piece includes a first plate member defining an inner face, an opposite outer face, a first side face, an opposite second side face, and an end face. The first plate member including a bolt-receiving bore therethrough. A second plate member defines an inner face contiguous with the inner face of the first plate member, an outer face, a first side face, an opposite second side face, and an end face. The second plate member includes a bolt-receiving bore extending between the inner face and the outer face thereof along a first axis generally parallel to the inner face of the first plate member.

Fastening arrangement and method

A slide is provided for interconnecting to a frame. The slide includes a bar extending along a main axis and having an inner face, an outer face, first and second sides and a bolt-receiving bore extending between the inner face and the outer face along a bore axis at an acute angle to the outer face. The first and second sides includes recessed grooves therein. A sliding member includes first and second legs projecting therefrom and being slidably received in corresponding grooves in the first and second sides of the bar. The legs guiding slideable movement of the sliding member along the bar.

Slide for interconnecting to a frame

A structural frame assembly is provided that includes mechanically interlocking components. The frame assembly has rails that interconnect with each other at joints that include brackets that engage the rails and nuts that are held in cavities of the rails that are connected to slots that extend through outer surfaces of the rails. Bolts may extend angularly through bores of the bracket and the slots of the rails to operatively engage a nut being held in the cavity. Tightening the bolts may draw the nut angularly through the cavity in a manner that automatically self-aligns the brackets and rails to establish precise joints.
