The device according to the invention for preparing a bone transplant () outside the human or animal body comprises a base element () and at least one holding element (). The at least one holding element () is inserted in the base element () of the device for preparing a bone transplant (). In the method according to the invention for configuration of the device according to the invention, the at least one holding element () is inserted into the base element of the device for preparing a bone transplant (). In the method according to the invention for preparing a bone transplant outside the human or animal body with the device according to the invention (), a bone fragment to be prepared is placed into the holding element () inserted in the base element (), the bone fragment to be prepared is fixed with the inserted holding element, and the bone fragment to be prepared is processed.

Device and a method for preparing a bone transplant

A shoulder prosthesis comprising a socket and a condyle that cooperates with the socket. The condyle also cooperates with a base plate facing the scapula similar to a clamping connection. The condyle is plugged onto the base plate by means of a receptacle that is embodied on the condyle. The base plate can be anchored to the glenoid fossa of the scapula with the aid of two peg-type protrusions.

Shoulder prosthesis

The shoulder prosthesis has a stem (), a ball head () and a middle section () that can be attached to the proximal end () of the stem () and to which the ball head () can be attached. The middle section () can be clamped to an attachment element () that is adjustable in a first direction at the proximal end () of the stem (), the first direction lying in the resection plane or parallel thereto. The first direction generally runs approximately medially-laterally. The attachment element () can be displaceable on the stem () by means of a dovetail guide () or guided displaceable in a guide bore in the stem (). The middle section can be clamped against the attachment element (), whereby the attachment element () and the middle section () can be fixed.
