A hub body for clutches, especially friction clutches in motor vehicles, with internal toothing for connection to a gear input shaft and with at least one encircling shoulder extending radially outward or with elements spaced in the circumferential direction and extending radially and axially for connection to a take-along disk of the clutch. The hardness curve in the shoulder or in the elements rises in the axial direction, relative to a constant axial plane, from a minimum value to a maximum value and declines again, and the hardness curve declines, relative to a constant radial plane, from a maximum value on the radial inside to a minimum value on the radial outside.

At least one adjustable drive unit for a wheel support which can be set in oscillation, and electronic units which measure and evaluate the oscillating movement of the suspended vehicle with the following process steps: Acceleration of the wheel support by the drive unit to an oscillation measurement point A in an oscillation range above the resonance frequency of the wheel, and maintenance of the wheel support in this oscillating condition, until at measurement point B, the wheel has matched the oscillations of the wheel support with sufficient accuracy; A delayed reduction of the oscillation frequency with simultaneous measurement and storage of the oscillation amplitude to a reverse oscillation frequency at measurement point C, at which, during the reduction of the oscillation frequency, the oscillation amplitude has fallen below a first limit value which is considered an indicator of the faded, or decayed, resonance frequency; An increase in the oscillation frequency with simultaneous measurement and storage of the oscillation amplitude to a measurement point D, at which the oscillation amplitude has fallen below a second limit value which serves as an indicator for a faded resonance frequency; A deceleration of the oscillation movement of the wheel support unit it comes to a standstill; and A comparative measurement of the oscillation amplitude measured between measurement points C and D with an oscillation amplitude of a reference shock absorber.

Shock absorber testing device

Process for the filling of a piston-cylinder unit, for example a shock absorber, with compressed gas and for closing the gas chamber of the piston-cylinder unit with a sealing element in the form of a base. The piston-cylinder unit is placed in an apparatus which apparatus can be connected to a compressed gas source from which the gas chamber is filled. The base is inserted by the apparatus into the open end of the piston-cylinder unit, after which the piston-cylinder unit, now under pressure and closed off by the base, is closed by, the process of welding.

Method of making a shock absorber and a shock absorber made by the method

A device for fastening an object to a flat support member is disclosed. The device includes an adhesive coating of at least 0.35 mm which is applied to the support member or the object. The coating may be provided on a table plate, a sideboard or tray as a support. The coating may be applied to a foil element which may be used in different ways in providing a releasably attachable arrangement.
