An automotive electric auxiliary device includes an electronic high-voltage motor which is driven by an electronic high voltage power circuit, an electronic low-voltage control circuit which is galvanically isolated from the electronic high-voltage power circuit, and a wake-up unit which wakes-up the electronic high-voltage power circuit. The wake-up unit includes a low-voltage wake-up input port which receives a single wake-up flank, and an inductive coupling element which inductively transmits the single wake-up flank to a releasable latch unit. The releasable latch unit transforms the single wake-up flank to a set constant high-voltage activity signal level for indicating a non-sleeping mode to the electronic high-voltage power circuit.

An electric fluid pump for a motor vehicle includes an electric drive motor which is brushless and electronically commutated. The electric drive motor includes a permanent-magnetic motor rotor having a motor shaft and at least two rotor poles, each of the at least two rotor poles having one permanent magnet embedded therein, a plurality of stator-side magnetic coils, at least two sensor magnets each emitting an axial magnetic field and each having polarities, and at least one Hall sensor which is arranged to lie eccentrically in a transverse plane so that the at least one Hall sensor detects the axial magnetic fields of the at least two sensor magnets. The at least two sensor magnets are magnetized diametrically. The at least one Hall sensor is arranged to detect the polarities of each of the at least two sensor magnets during one revolution of the permanent-magnetic motor rotor.

Electric fluid pump for a motor vehicle

An automotive electrical gas pump includes an electronically commutated motor which drives a motor rotor to rotate within a motor can. The motor has a motor stator which comprises at least one static electro-magnetic coil. An electronic circuit board drives the at least one electro-magnetic coil. A mounting frame includes a motor can and a stator bed. The stator bed embeds the motor stator at least in part. The mounting frame is made of a plastic material which includes a thermally high-conductive filler material.

An automotive electric fluidic pump includes a brushless and electronically commutated electric drive motor. The electric drive motor includes a permanent-magnetic motor rotor which rotates around a rotation axis and includes rotor poles, stator-sided electro-magnetic coils, a printed circuit board with openings, at least two stator-sided Hall sensors arranged on a proximal side of the printed circuit board to face the permanent-magnetic motor rotor, and a ferromagnetic back iron member arranged at a distal side of the printed circuit board to provide a direct magnetic coupling of the Hall sensors with each other. The Hall sensors are arranged eccentrically to detect axial magnetic fields of the rotor poles. The ferromagnetic back iron member comprises axial protrusions. An axial protrusion extends into an opening of the printed circuit board. Each axial protrusion faces a Hall sensor.

Automotive electric fluidic pump

An automotive auxiliary device includes an electric drive motor which is brushless and electronically commutated. The electric drive motor includes a rotatable motor rotor which defines a longitudinal rotor axis, a motor stator, and at least one stator-sided hall-sensor. The motor rotor includes a rotor shaft, a magnet carrier, and at least one permanent magnet which generates at least two rotor poles. The permanent magnet is fixed to the magnet carrier to provide a free inner space between the rotor shaft and the permanent magnet. The permanent magnet includes an axial protruding portion which axially protrudes from at least one side of the magnet carrier. The motor stator comprises at least two stator coils which are arranged radially around the rotatable motor rotor. The hall-sensor is arranged in the free inner space and is provided as a type of radial rotor detection sensor.

Automotive auxiliary device with electric drive motor

A DC motor for driving components of a motor vehicle includes a housing radially surrounding a stator and a rotor. An end plate axially bond to the DC motor comprises a center which has a drive shaft project there-through, and two connection contacts projecting therefrom which supply a voltage to the DC motor. A printed circuit board has electronic components providing an interference-suppression arranged thereon. The printed circuit board comprises conductor paths, a central opening having the drive shaft projects there-through, and two plug-through openings having the two connection contacts project there-through. An earth connection device producing an earth connection of the printed circuit board is provided as a metal sheet arranged axially between the printed circuit board and the end plate. The metal sheet comprises a first contact element connected to the housing, and a second contact element connected to the conductor paths of the printed circuit board.

DC motor for driving assemblies of a motor vehicle

An actuating device for actuators, such as switching, throttle or swirl flaps, in internal combustion engines for motor vehicles comprises a shaft connected with an actuating motor. The shaft is connected with an actuator, such as a switching flap or the like. In a predetermined position relative to the shaft two pin-type magnets are arranged and preferably connected with a partly toothed gearwheel. When the shaft is rotated, the pin-type magnets move relative to a preferably fixed magnetic field sensor. The magnetic field sensor is a linear Hall sensor. Provision of a linear Hall sensor allows three different shaft positions to be determined. The positions are the two shaft positions defined by the pin-type magnets in which the magnets are arranged opposite the Hall sensor, and a position in which the location of the pin-type magnets does not allow the Hall sensor to detect a magnetic field. In the latter position the linear Hall sensor has a defined bridge voltage.

Switching flap device

In a method for controlling a switching flap () arranged in an intake pipe connected with an internal-combustion engine the switching flap () is rotated with the aid of a switching-flap shaft () connected with an electromotor (). With the aid of a position-detecting device () an end position of the switching flap () is detected. Subsequently, a rotation force is continued to be applied to the shaft () to hold the switching flap () in the end position. For detecting a breakage of the switching-flap shaft (), an error message is generated when the switching-flap shaft () continues to rotate beyond the end position.

Method of controlling a switching flap, and a switching-flap actuating unit

A level transmitter for liquid containers, particularly fuel store tanks, comprising a housing in which a contactless sensor is arranged which is connected with an evaluating unit and operatively connected with a magnet that moves relative to the sensor when a float arranged at a first end of a lever moves so that the change of the magnetic field acting upon the sensor is transformed into an electric signal so that an output signal corresponding to the level of the liquid in the container is obtainable by the evaluating means. The magnet is configured at least as a segment of an annular magnet that is arranged at a second end of the lever and integrated therein.

Level transmitter

A position sensor which is particularly suitable for the rotational angle detection of throttle or exhaust gas valves comprises a permanent magnet and at least two magnetic field sensors arranged adjacently to the permanent magnet. The magnetic field sensors are, for example, Hall sensors. By a relative movement between the permanent magnet and the magnetic field sensors, a position-dependent signal, for example in dependence on a rotational angle of the shaft, is produced. According to the invention, the two magnetic field sensors are arranged behind each other in field direction of the permanent magnet.
