The present invention relates to a multi-layer product, the first layer being a UV-cured protective layer which contains SiOnanoparticles, and the second layer containing a thermoplastic substrate. In addition, the invention relates to the composition of the UV-curable first layer, a process for the production of the multi-layer products and products, such as e.g. glazing products, which contain the named multi-layer products.

UV protective compositions, processes for preparing such compositions, methods of coating substrates therewith and multi-layer articles formed thereby

The invention relates to a multilayer product comprising a first layer (A), a second layer (B), a third layer (C), and a fourth layer (D). The first layer (A) is a scratch-resistant protective layer having a minimum extinction of 0.3 at 340 nm, the second layer (B) is an alkyl acrylate layer having a minimum extinction of 2 at 340 nm, and the third layer (C) and the fourth layer (D) contain a UV-stabilized polycarbonate. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the multilayer product.

Weather-resistant multilayer systems

The invention relates to multilayer products comprising a layer (A) and a layer (B), wherein layer (A) contains polyalkyl(alkyl)acrylate and has a layer thickness &#x3c;25 [mu]m, and layer (B) contains polycarbonate. The total thickness of layers (A) and (B) is 20 to 500 mm.

Embodiments of the invention provide a semiconductor component and a method of manufacture thereof.
