An exhaust system for the aftertreatment of exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine, having an annular catalytic converter which is flowed through by exhaust gas, wherein the annular catalytic converter has an inflow point and an outflow point and the annular catalytic converter has a tubular first flow path and an annular second flow path which are oriented concentrically with respect to one another and which are flowed through in series, wherein the first flow path is surrounded to the outside in a radial direction by the second flow path, wherein a pipe is led in the radial direction from the outside through the second flow path, wherein the pipe opens into the annular catalytic converter and the pipe has a radial extent at least as far as into the inner first flow path.

A honeycomb body for exhaust-gas aftertreatment and a method for producing the honeycomb body for exhaust-gas aftertreatment, the honeycomb body having a housing and a honeycomb structure with a multiplicity of channels. The honeycomb structure is formed with a partially structured layer and a smooth layer the smooth layer provides that, in at least one axial portion of the honeycomb structure, a first cell density in an inner radial zone is increased in relation to a second cell density in an outer radial zone.

An exhaust gas cleaning component, having a housing with an inflow port and an outflow port, a first honeycomb structure in the housing with a casing, the casing having an outer surface over which exhaust gas can flow, and also having an applicator device by which an exhaust gas cleaning additive can be applied to the outer surface of the casing.
