Content is selectively provided to users of mobile devices within a venue including an on-site wireless network. User authorization requests and/or user account registration data are transmitted to the on-site wireless network from mobile devices within the venue. Attributes such as user interests and professions, which comprise inferred user profiles, are obtained using the network traffic data. Identities of mobile devices are established based on a combination including two or more of network identifiers, mobile device signatures, and browser signatures. The inferred user profiles are correlated with the mobile device identities. The inferred user profiles are aggregated into user profile groups and then matched with a content provider's intended target profiles. Content is transmitted to the mobile devices corresponding to the intended target profiles and based on correlation of the inferred user profiles with identities of the devices. Inferred user profiles may be verified using social and/or geographical data.

User/group servicing based on deep network analysis

A method for operating a teleconference includes receiving a first video and audio signal from a first teleconference participant and receiving a second video and audio signal from a second teleconference participant. The method further includes relaying the first video and audio signal to the second teleconference participant and relaying the second video and audio signal to the first teleconference participant. The method additionally includes analyzing the first video and audio signal using a plurality of behavior analytics to determine a level of participant engagement of the first teleconference participant. The method further includes determining that the first teleconference participant is not engaged when the determined level of participant engagement is below a predetermined threshold.

Offline functionality-based co-ranking and clustering is carried out on a knowledge base that characterizes a heterogeneous information technology services network including a plurality of services, a plurality of providers, and a plurality of attributes. Results of the functionality-based co-ranking and clustering are stored as annotations of the services and the providers in the knowledge base, to obtain an annotated knowledge base. A service requirement is obtained from a customer requiring information technology services. A method, system and computer program product for servicing media content. In one embodiment, the media content is processed by having each of a group of services process increments of the media content, one increment at a time; and the order in which the services process these increments is orchestrated to process all of the media content in accordance with a defined procedure. In one embodiment, the increments of the media content are passed, one increment after another, to at least a plurality of the services in a defined order. In an embodiment, each time one of the plurality of services passes one of the increments of the media content to a subsequent one of the services in the defined order, the one of the plurality of services requests another increment of the media content from a preceding one of the services in the defined order.

A method and system for tracking web content serviced by a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) server in the Internet to feed an end device coupled to an application server. The web content is retrieved by the HTTP server responsive to receiving a request for metadata of the web content from the end device. The method includes receiving content of a first media type over a network from a sending client. The method also includes generating a billing record based on the content and user preferences of a sending client and/or a receiving client.

A system and method is provided to facilitate subscriber driven media agnostic content delivery across same or different networks. The method includes receiving preferences from a sending client and a receiving client and receiving content of a first media type over a network. The method further includes sending the content or a reference to the content to the receiving client in a preferred media type and to a preferred device in accordance with at least one preference of the receiving client. The method also includes notifying at least the receiving client that the content is to be received by the preferred device.

Subscriber driven media agnostic content delivery across networks

For each of a plurality of endpoints of an information technology system having a plurality of security policies, a probability of being safe of each of said endpoints is determined according to each of said security policies. Said determining takes into account probability of security compromise for a single violation of each given one of said security policies. A risk-aware compliance metric is determined for said information technology system based on each of said probabilities of being safe for each of said endpoints and each of said policies. At least one of an operation and a remediation is carried out on said information technology system based on said risk-aware compliance metric. Techniques for optimizing risk-aware compliance are also provided.

In an approach for creating a service composition, a processor receives a plurality of software modules, wherein each software module performs part of a service requested by one or more users on a network. A processor collects one or more attributes and one or more dependencies for each of the plurality of software modules. A processor appends information about the attributes and the dependencies to each respective software module. A processor stores each of the plurality of software modules with the respective appended information in a database. A processor creates a service composition comprised of a combination of the plurality of software modules, based on the appended information and the service requested by the one or more users on the network.

Refining composition instrumentation for services

A method and system for attaching a title key to encrypted content for synchronized transmission to, or storage by, a recipient is provided. Specifically, under the present invention, an elementary media stream is parceled into content units that each include a content packet and a header. The content packets are encrypted with one or more title keys. Once the content packets have been encrypted, the title keys are themselves encrypted with a key encrypting key. The encrypted title keys are then attached to the corresponding encrypted content packets for synchronized transmission to a recipient.
