The present invention is a pouch for crushing a tablet or pill, that features a containment portion for containing a tablet or pill while being crushed into a powder without loss of the powder, the containment portion having a slanted bottom adapted to direct the powder toward a focal point along the bottom, and at least one perforation along a line intersecting the bottom above the focal point.

The invention is a tablet crusher including a linkage that is operable to bring to bear a force on a platen so as to urge it against an anvil, wherein platen and anvil are shaped so as to bring about a crushing force upon a tablet disposed therebetween. The device comprises: (1) a base; (2) an anvil integrally fixed to the base, the anvil having a concave crushing face; (3) a platen having a convex crushing face, coupled at a pivot to the base so as to be moveable against the anvil; (4) a screw actuator for facilitating movement of the platen against the anvil, the screw actuator having a handle; whereby movement of the handle produces movement of the platen relative to the anvil, for crushing a tablet between the anvil and the platen.

An expandable shoe for inline skates having front and rear shoe portions with wheel receiving channels and upwardly extending blocking means is provided. A flexible bridge connecting said front and rear shoe portions pulls the shoe portions toward each other when the skate wheels are inserted so that the blocking means engage the front and rear wheels with sufficient force to secure the shoe for walking or storage.

The invention relates to a fluid dispensing device incorporating a push-button actuator normally biased in the closed position, a housing for receiving the aerosol canisters and a carrying case for the entire assembly. Activation is achieved by longitudinal axial compression followed by snapping engagement of the housing fitted about the aerosol valves which depresses the aerosol valves.

A doll case arrangement for storing, transporting and displaying at least one doll is disclosed. The doll case arrangement includes an outer shell and at least one removable display housing. The display housing is intended to house a doll or a set of doll accessories. The outer shell is adapted to receive the at least one removable display housing. Preferably, the outer shell comprises a spine connected to two molded halves. Each molded half forms at least one interior storage cavity adapted to receive a removable display housing. Further, the connection between each molded half and the spine forms a hinge enabling the molded halves to open and close with respect to each other.

A detector assembly for use in an optical reader comprises a hollow housing in which is mounted on the central axis of the housing a collection lens, a routing mirror, a light filter and a photodetector. A routing lens mounted in the side of the housing and on an axis which is perpendicular to the central axis of the housing directs the scanning light at the routing mirror which in turn reflects the light in a scanning direction.
