A grounding ring, including a substantially circular-ring-shaped hub and at least two sliding contacts, which are arranged on the outside of the hub in the radial direction, extend in the circumferential direction and, in the manufactured state of the grounding ring, are arranged adjacent to one another at a distance from one another in the circumferential direction and delimit a circumferential gap with their sides facing one another in the circumferential direction, and wherein the circumferential gap is substantially bridged during the intended use of the grounding ring by the mutually facing and mutually non-overlapping sides.

A ballast seal for a sealing ring includes: a substantially annular potential equalization ring made of an electrically-conductive material and which can be brought into contact in a sealing manner with a surface to be sealed of a machine element to be sealed; and at least one shielding ring made of a soft magnetic material so as to shield against electromagnetic interfering waves.

Sealing ring

A mounting device for a sealing ring, having a transport/mounting protective sleeve for the sealing ring and a sleeve-shaped punch with which the transport/mounting protective sleeve is movable on both sides in axial direction and automatically removable, wherein the protective sleeve has an inner step, extending axially, and an outside diameter corresponding to the outside diameter of a machine element to be sealed, and an axial length substantially corresponding to the axial length of the sealing ring, wherein the inner step is bounded axially counter to mounting direction by at least one end-side stop for the sealing ring, which stop forms part of an outer step likewise extending in the axial direction, wherein the outer step has a first driver surface with which at least one latching-lug-shaped driver of the punch can be engaged for automatic removal of the protective sleeve when the punch moves counter to the mounting direction.
