The tire comprises a crown, two sidewalls and two beads, each sidewall connecting each bead to the crown, a carcass reinforcement that is anchored in each bead and extends in each sidewall and radially on the inside of the crown, each bead comprising at least one continuous filamentary reinforcing element () comprising N≥2 circumferential turns which are radially superposed on one another. The continuous filamentary reinforcing element () comprises a radially outer free end (E) and a radially inner free end (E). At least one of the radially outer free end (E) and the radially inner free end (E) is threaded between two portions () arranged radially on the outside and on the inside of the free end (E, E) in question.

Tire comprising an improved bead

A tire for an aeroplane and, in particular, to the crown of a tire for an aeroplane, having reduced dimensions and mass of the pieces of tread in the event of accidental tire tread separation, without the use of additional devices external to the tire and therefore without penalizing the payload of the aeroplane, including a tread intended to come into contact with the ground via a tread surface and comprised radially between a bottom surface and the tread surface, the tread comprising at least two circumferential ribs adjacent to at least one circumferential groove, each circumferential rib extending radially between the bottom surface and the tread surface and axially between two edge corners in the tread surface, and a crown reinforcement radially on the inside of the bottom surface, wherein a tread separation layer is arranged radially on the inside of at least one circumferential rib between the bottom surface and the crown reinforcement, axially between the two edge corners of the said circumferential rib, in the tread surface, and circumferentially over at least part of the circumference of the tire, and the radial distance (d) between the tread separation layer and the bottom surface is at most equal to 1 mm.

Crown for an aircraft tire

A tire for an aeroplane and, in particular, to the crown of a tire for an aeroplane, having reduced dimensions and mass of the pieces of tread in the event of accidental tire tread separation, without the use of additional devices external to the tire and therefore without penalizing the payload of the aeroplane, having a tread intended to come into contact with the ground via a tread surface, and extending radially between a bottom surface and the tread surface, the tread comprising at least two circumferential ribs adjacent to at least one circumferential groove, each circumferential rib extending radially between the bottom surface and the tread surface, axially between two lateral faces and circumferentially around the entire periphery of the tire, wherein the tread comprises rows of cavities formed in at least one circumferential rib and opening onto the tread surface, the rows of cavities, which are parallel to one another, are inclined with respect to the circumferential direction (XX') of the tire at an angle (i) at least equal to 45&#xb0;, and the rows of cavities are distributed circumferentially over at least part of the periphery of the tire with a circumferential spacing (p) at least equal to 0.02 times and at most equal to 0.12 times the circumferential length of the periphery of the tire.

An airplane tire has a carcass reinforcement that comprises at least two inner layers wrapped around the bead core from the inside to the outside of the tire to form respectively a turn-up, and at least one outer layer wrapped around the bead core from the outside to the inside of the tire, and axially outward, within the sidewall, of any inner layer. One of the at least two inner layers that is axially nearest the bead core is decoupled for at least a part of its length, in an area adjacent to and radially outward of the bead core, from the turn-ups and carcass reinforcement layers which are axially outward of it, by at least one polymeric bead filler compound.
