The present invention relates to an electromagnetic assembly of polyphase structure, said assembly including: a yoke comprising an electromagnetic body; a plurality of spaced-apart blocks that protrude with respect to one of the carrier faces of the yoke and that are arranged, consecutively, along the periphery of the carrier face of the yoke; and at least one winding that is associated with the blocks, wherein there is only one yoke, the plurality of blocks is arranged in at least two groups of blocks (A, B, C) in which two consecutive blocks of a given group of blocks (A, B, C) are spaced apart by an inter-block distance (E), and each group of blocks (A, B, C) is separated from the adjacent group of blocks (A, B, C) by an inter-group distance (D) that is different from the inter-block distance (E).

Electromagnetic assembly of polyphase structure

An electromagnetic armature comprising an electromagnetic yoke having a cylindrical surface of axis z, intended to be facing an air-gap. Said cylindrical surface is the interaction surface and comprises a plurality of teeth forming poles, associated with the interaction surface and projecting from same, and disposed at regularly spaced intervals around the whole yoke. Each tooth comprises a recess arranged on one of the faces of the tooth in a so-called polar plane. Each recess is intended to receive the winding. Said teeth are disposed on the yoke in such a way that the recesses are disposed alternately to either side of the polar plane. Alternatively, one or more teeth of the armature can be removed from the yoke.

Electromagnetic armature for rotating electrical machine and method for manufacturing same

Disclosed is an asynchronous rotating electric machine in which none of the electrical windings is rotating, said machine having a homopolar compound structure. The machine comprises: a rotor including magnetic flux return parts; and a stator formed by a pair of armatures and a magnetic wedge connecting the armatures and providing the magnetic flux in the direction of the axis of rotation, an annular induction coil being supplied with alternating current and housed between the air gap and the wedge, and one or two armature coils being received by one or both of the armatures generating an alternating magnetic flux.

Homopolar compound-type asynchronous motor

The rotary electrical machine having a homopolar structure includes a number Npe of electrical phases. The machine includes a juxtaposition, along the rotational axis of the rotary electrical machine, of at least one pair of armatures having a number of poles Np, placed on both sides of at least one inductive coil wound around the rotational axis, two adjacent armatures being angularly offset by any electrical angle &#x3b8;s, preferably between 0&#xb0; and 180&#xb0;/Npe, and at least one 'passive' inductor of ferromagnetic material, separated from the armatures by an air gap. Either the armatures form the rotor, or the inductor and the other element form the stator.
