The cutting machine for cutting logs of web material, includes a cutting head arranged along the feeding path of the logs. The cutting head includes a coupling for a disc-shaped cutting blade and is designed to impart the disc-shaped cutting blade a rotary motion around the axis thereof and a cyclic movement to cut the logs into single rolls, and to allow the logs to move forward along the feeding path. The machine also includes a store unit for disc-shaped cutting blades associated with the cutting head. A handling member is provided to remove a worn disc-shaped cutting blade from the cutting head and replace the worn disc-shaped cutting blade with a new disc-shaped cutting blade taken from the store unit.

Method and machine for cutting logs of wound web material

The folding roller includes a rotation axis and at least a gripping member extending longitudinally along the folding roller, controlled by at least a piezoelectric actuator. The piezoelectric actuator causes a pivoting movement of the gripping member about its pivoting axis parallel to the rotation axis of the folding roller.

A converting line for processing tissue paper includes an unwinder for unwinding reels of tissue paper; a rewinding machine for forming rolls of tissue paper; a feeding path between the unwinder and the rewinding machine, for at least one ply of tissue paper; along the feeding path, a first detection unit to detect the thickness of the tissue paper fed along the feeding path in a feeding direction; a control system, interfacing with the detection unit, and configured to act on at least one production parameter of the converting line based on the detected tissue paper thickness.

The rewinding machine includes a first winding cradle formed between a first winding roller, a second winding roller and a third winding roller. The first winding roller and the second winding roller define a nip through which there pass the winding cores with the web material being wound around them. The rewinding machine also includes a feed path of the winding cores that pass between the first winding roller and the third winding roller. A second winding cradle is formed between the first winding roller, the second winding roller and a fourth winding roller. The rewinding machine also includes a rolling surface extending around the first winding roller and defining a feed channel of the winding cores.

Rewinding machine and method of producing logs of web material

The machine includes a feeding path for the logs to be cut and a cutting head arranged along the feeding path. The cutting head includes a coupling for a disc-shaped cutting blade and is designed to impart the disc-shaped cutting blade a rotary motion around the axis thereof and a cyclic movement to cut the logs into single rolls, and to allow the logs to move forward along the feeding path. The machine also includes at least a grinding unit, including at least one grinding wheel mounted onto a rotation shaft and co-acting with a side of the disc-shaped cutting blade to grind the cutting edge of the same disc-shaped cutting blade. A controlled approach system is also provided to move the grinding wheel towards the disc-shaped cutting blade.

The rewinding machine includes a first winding cradle, formed between a first winding roller, a second winding roller and a third winding roller, and a second winding cradle formed between the first winding roller, the second winding roller and a fourth winding roller. The first winding roller and the second winding roller define a nip through which nip the winding cores, around which the web material is found, pass and the web material is fed towards a roll being formed in the second winding cradle. A severing member is furthermore provided, acting on the web material between a winding core and the nip, to sever the web material thus generating a tail edge of a completed roll and a leading edge of a new roll to be wound.

Rewinding machine and method for producing rolls of web material

The embossing-laminating device includes load bearing structure with at least two side members, a first path, for a first ply of web material, and a second path for a second ply of web material. Along the first path, a first pressure roller and a first interchangeable embossing roller are arranged, which define therebetween a first embossing nip for the first ply of web material. Along the second path a second pressure roller and a second interchangeable embossing roller are arranged, which define a second embossing nip for the second ply of web material. The embossing-laminating device also includes a magazine including a plurality of seats for a plurality of interchangeable embossing rollers, as well as at least a first manipulator for replacing embossing rollers.

The rewinding machine includes a first winding cradle, formed between a first winding roller, a second winding roller and a third winding roller and a second winding cradle formed between the first winding roller, the second winding roller and a fourth winding roller. The first winding roller and the second winding roller define a nip through which nip the winding cores, around which the web material is found, pass and the web material is fed towards a roll being formed in the second winding cradle. A severing member is furthermore provided, acting on the web material between a winding core and the nip, to sever the web material thus generating a tail edge of a completed roll and a leading edge of a new roll to be wound.

A rewinding machine is described with a winding cradle defined by three rollers and including a fourth winding roller defining with the first winding roller a cradle in which the web material is pushed by a winding core to the beginning of each winding cycle, to cause severing of the web material without the need for controlled mechanical parts.

Rewinding machine and method for the production of rolls of web material

The machine includes a first winding roller and a concave plate extending around the first winding roller. The first winding roller and the concave plate define a feed channel of the web material. Upstream of the concave plate there is arranged a moving member including a pinching surface cooperating with the first winding roller to pinch the web material against the first winding roller. The moving member is arranged and controlled to pinch the web material against the surface of the first winding roller and decelerate the web material between the moving member and the surface of the first winding roller, causing a leading edge to wind around itself to form a winding nucleus of a log.

A rewinding machine is described with a winding cradle defined by three rollers and including a fourth winding roller, defining with the first winding roller a cradle in which the web material is pushed by a winding core to the beginning of each winding cycle, to cause severing of the web material without the need for controlled mechanical parts.

The rewinding machine includes a first winding roller, around which the web material is guided, and defining at least in part a winding cradle; a support surface of the winding cores arranged to receive a winding core and to convey the core toward the winding cradle, the support surface defining with the first winding roller a feed channel of winding cores, a severing member of the web material, which can be inserted in the channel to sever the web material, the severing member interacting with the web material to cause severing thereof; a motor for controlling the severing member, the motor controlling the severing member modifying the speed of the severing member when it is positioned inside the channel.

Rewinding machine and winding method

The control device comprises: at least one member (X) for regulating the speed of advance on the weblike material; a central control unit (); a guiding roller () with mobile axis, over which the weblike material is run; and a position transducer () for detecting the position of the guiding roller () and for generating a position signal for controlling the speed of said weblike material. The guiding roller () is supported in a controlled position, and associated thereto is at least one sensor () for detecting a load (F) applied by the weblike material (N) on the guiding roller (). In addition, an actuator () controls a displacement of the guiding roller according to a feedback signal generated by the sensor (). The actuator is controlled so as to make up for variations of the load of the weblike material by moving the axis of the guiding roller, and the member for regulating the speed of advance of the weblike material () is controlled by said central control unit (), according to the position signal, so as to maintain the axis of the guiding roller () in a position that is on average constant.
