A device for the external fixation of a first bone element and a second bone element articulated to each other, comprises: a guide member equipped with a curvilinear guide; a first fastening member slidably associated with the guide and equipped with first means for releasable fastening to the first bone element; a second fastening member associated with the guide member and equipped with first means for releasable fastening to the second bone element; and relative movement means by which the first fastening member is moved relative to the second fastening member along the guide.

Device for anchoring an elongated tensile flexible element for reconstruction of a torn ligament

The device for tensioning traction wires has a hollow body to which a pair of actuation levers is pivoted. A movable head is guided frontally in the hollow body and a slider is slidably mounted inside the hollow body and is adapted to be traversed by a traction wire. A tension element is supported by the slider and provided with clamps for locking the traction wire. A lever system transmits to the slider the compression force exerted on the actuation levers, while an anchoring element rigidly associated with the hollow body is fitted on the slider, to which the lever system is pivoted. A movable locking element is adapted to keep constant the tension exerted by means of the actuation levers.

Device for tensioning traction wires in orthopedic surgery

The external splint for the treatment of fractures of the long bones of limbs is composed of a tubular body which encloses a cylindrical cavity and has one end prismatically engaged in a seat of a box-like element, which is elongated transversely to the axis of the tubular body. The box-like element is coupled to the tubular body by means of a screw which is rotatably supported in the box-like element and is screwed in a threaded hole defined in the end along the axis of the seat. The screw is cannulated to allow the accommodation of a strain-gauge for monitoring the behavior of the splint. A support for supporting the nail-holder clamps are applied to the box-like element and to the tubular body so that it is possible to adjust them according to a total of three degrees of freedom.
