The present invention relates to a seat for a chair-lift installation composed of a seating part () and a back () and further including a support arch () intended to be connected to a carrier cable, a safety bar () mounted to tilt with respect to the seat between a lowered position and a raised position and provided with a horizontal bar (). According to the invention, the seat includes, at least one of the side flanks a tilting device () arranged so that the horizontal bar () of the safety bar () makes, in a side plane, a non circular motion facilitating the passage from the lowered position to the raised position and vice versa.

The transport installation with an aerial cable () for moving along a path, comprises a maintenance vehicle () provided with a gondola () mounted on a suspending rod () connected to the cable () by means of a fastener (). The maintenance vehicle () moreover comprises a gangway () mounted on the suspending rod (). A guiding rod () is fixed to the gangway () at one of its ends, and is connected to the cable () at its opposite end. The gangway () has a structure extending in the direction of displacement of the maintenance vehicle (), and is pivotingly mounted on the suspending rod () so as to form an articulated bascule.

A transport installation comprising an aerial rope with continuous running on which vehicles are suspended by detachable grips, comprises a transfer circuit equipped with means for moving the vehicles. The means for moving comprise at least one set of wheels with pneumatic tires one of which wheels is connected to a power take-off derived from running of the rope and equipped with drive means whereby each wheel is made to rotate by one of the adjacent wheels. One of the wheels of said set of wheels is connected by transmission means to the output shaft of an electric torque motor generating a constant turning torque independent from the speed of rotation of said output shaft.

A bull-wheel for a rope transport installation comprises a hub and a peripheral rim joined to the hub by a metal connecting framework composed of a perforated central disk strengthened by rigidifying arms. The rim is radially subdivided into several circular segments assembled to one another by first fixing members. The hub is fixedly secured to a support enclosure comprising at least one coaxial plate of polygonal cross-section confining at the ends bearing surfaces for the central disk and the radial rigidifying arms assembled by second fixing members. The assembly is arranged so as to distribute the radial forces in the axis of the rope uniformly regardless of the angular position of the bull-wheel when the latter is driven in rotation.

A bull-wheel of a fixed carrying-hauling rope chair lift is driven by a geared motor mechanism having a coaxial shaft line extending perpendicularly to the bull-wheel in a substantially vertical direction. The geared motor mechanism is composed of an electric motor and a mechanical speed reducer forming two independent modules arranged on opposing sides of the bull-wheel, which is fitted on a movable carriage to provide mechanical tensioning of the rope.
