A nasal delivery device for a powder, having a reservoir, a delivery head and an air discharge system generating a flow of compressed air. The air discharge system has an air chamber, formed by a hollow axial cylinder, and a piston that sealingly slides in the air chamber to compress the air. The hollow axial cylinder has a radial shoulder connecting a first cylinder portion and a second cylinder portion. Before actuation, the piston is at the first cylinder portions and, during actuation, the piston sealingly cooperates with the second cylinder portion. The radial shoulder defines a profile that the piston overcomes at start of actuation. The piston has an upper lip and a lower lip, a skirt around the hollow axial cylinder with a lower flange projecting radially inward. The skirt has a profile radially projecting towards the inside, cooperating before actuation with the lower lip of the piston.

Nasal powder delivery device

A nasal powder delivery device having a container containing a dose of powder, a nasal delivery head, and an air discharge system generating a flow of compressed air for delivering a dose of powder into the nostril. An air chamber is arranged in a skirt, and a piston sealingly slides in the air chamber to compress the air. The piston is connected to an actuating member, in which, before actuation, at least one breakable bridge is provided between the skirt and the actuating member, wherein each breakable bridge is formed on the skirt and cooperates with a radial projection formed on the actuating member. Each radial projection has an axial extension greater than that of the respective breakable bridge and forms an inclined axial ramp on either side.

A fluid dispenser device having a dispenser head; an air expeller; and a reservoir containing a single dose of fluid. The reservoir includes a proximal axial end and a distal axial end, and is removably mounted so that after the device has been actuated, the empty reservoir can be removed from the device and replaced by a new full reservoir. The air expeller is adapted to return to its rest position to enable a new actuation with the new full reservoir. The dispenser head includes a proximal perforator tip to perforate the proximal axial end of the reservoir. The device includes a movable perforator member that slides axially around the dispenser head between a loading position and an actuation position and includes a distal perforator tip adapted to perforate the distal axial end of the reservoir when the movable perforator member is moved into its actuation position.

A dispenser device for dispensing a fluid or powder composition, the dispenser device comprising: a dispenser head () that is provided with a dispenser outlet () that is formed at the end of a hollow sleeve (); an air expeller () for generating a flow of air while the device is being actuated, said air expeller including a piston () that slides in an air chamber () between a rest position and a dispensing position, said air chamber () including a cylindrical body in which said piston () slides in airtight manner; and a reservoir () that contains a single dose of composition, said reservoir () including an air inlet () that is connected to said air expeller (), and a composition outlet () that is connected to said dispenser outlet (), said air inlet () including a composition retainer member () for retaining the composition in the reservoir () until the composition is dispensed, and said composition outlet () being closed by a closure element () that is force fitted in the composition outlet () of the reservoir (); said device further comprising a mechanical opening system () that co-operates with said closure element () so as to expel it mechanically from its closed position while the device is being actuated; said device further comprising an indicator () that, in the rest position before actuation, is in a first state, and that after actuation passes into a second state, the passage from the first to the second state informing the user that the device has been actuated, said first state being a visible state and said second state being a non-visible state, said device including a pusher element () that is secured to said piston (), and on which the user presses during actuation, said dispenser head () including a skirt () that is arranged around said air chamber (), said pusher element (), in its rest position before actuation, projecting axially out from said skirt (), and after actuation, being arranged inside said skirt (), said pusher element () including an indicator () that is visible before actuation and that is not visible after actuation.

A dispenser device, including an outlet, air expeller including a piston that slides in an air chamber between rest position and dispensing positions, and a reservoir containing a dose composition. The reservoir includes an air inlet connected to the air expeller, and a composition outlet connected to the outlet, the air inlet including a composition retainer member, and the composition outlet being closed by a closure element force fitted in the composition outlet of the reservoir. A mechanical opening system co-operates with the closure element to expel it from its closed position while the device is actuated. The piston, when in its rest position, co-operates in non-airtight manner with the air chamber so that the air chamber communicates with the atmosphere.
