The invention relates to a light module including a fixed mount intended to act as a support for a light source, a projection optic that has a focal plane and is designed to project a light beam from the light rays emitted by the light source, a member for holding the projection optic. According to the invention, the holding member includes a first support element and a second support element. The second support element acts as a support for the projection optic. The first support element connects the second support element to the fixed mount. The support elements are arranged so as to position the focal plane in a location in which the light module ensures good projection image quality in spite of the thermal expansion of the projection optic.

The invention relates to a luminous module for automotive vehicle including a light source and a projection optic designed to project a light field onto the ground. The luminous module also includes an element with a variable light transmission rate positioned between the light source and the projection optic, the element with a variable light transmission rate includes at least one first portion and at least one second portion. Each of these portions has a different light transmission rate so that the image sectors respectively formed by the first portion and the second portion have the same luminous intensity.

The present invention relates to a vehicle lighting device including a lens intended to deflect the light rays emitted by a light source and including a wheel sector with a driven surface. The wheel sector is made in one piece with the lens as a whole. Also included is a driving means with a driving surface such that the driving surface is in contact with the driven surface, and movement of the driving surface drives movement of the lens.

The subject of the invention is a reflector device for a lighting module of a motor vehicle. The device includes a housing made of plastic, wherein the internal faces are metallized so as to reflect the light received. The housing on an external face of one of its walls has reception means able to house a support including at least one light source, the wall having an opening which leads toward the inside of the housing and which allows the light emitted by the light source or sources to propagate toward the inside of the housing. According to the provisions of the invention, the external face of the housing may be connected to ground potential so as to act as a shield against the electromagnetic waves emitted by various electronic components.

The present invention relates to a motor vehicle light device that includes an optical deflector, at least one bearing element, and a pinning element. The pinning element has a bracing element bearing a contact portion, the bracing element at least partially surrounding the optical deflector, the contact portion bearing against the optical deflector. The optical deflector, the bearing element and the pinning element are arranged so that the optical deflector is at least partially gripped between the bearing piece and the contact portion, so that, in a direction running from the bearing piece to the contact portion, the contact portion is rigid and the bracing element is elastically deformable.

A lighting and/or signaling module that includes a housing delimiting a volume intended to receive at least one light source, an outer lens disposed on the housing and delimiting the volume and means for supporting the housing in rotation about a generally transverse axis. An adjustable element is part of an apparatus such as an automotive headlight which includes a support, and a security cap prevents undetected interference with the adjustment of that element, guaranteeing its inviolability. The adjustment is effected with a control member rotatable about a geometrical axis transverse to the axis of the support. The control member has an adjusting head accessible from outside the support. The security cap is mounted for movement in translation with respect to the support, parallel to the geometric support axis, and includes snap-fitting means co-operating with a zone of the support, to be engaged in response to this movement. The cap is put into a final snap-fitted position, in which it conceals the adjusting head, by a simple push.

A vehicle foglight, or other light for illuminating or signalling purposes, has a casing and a reflector, with a cradle which connects the reflector to the casing and which has an aperture in its upper part such that the cradle is U-shaped. The lamp is mounted in the aperture and the rear wall of the casing carries a metal plate. Heat from the lamp is dissipated so that plastics components are not unduly heated.
