A pendulum damping device including a support that rotates about an axis, at least one pendulum body and at least one rolling member guiding the movement of the pendulum body relative to the support, the rolling member engaging with at least one rolling track rigidly connected to the support and with at least one rolling track rigidly connected to the pendulum body. The rolling member includes a first part defining a first axial end, a second part defining a second axial end, and a resilient element arranged in the rolling member so as to axially separate these two parts so that the rolling member exerts an axial clamping force on one of the pendulum body and the support during the movement of the pendulum body relative to the support.

A pendulum damping device including a mounting to rotate about an axis; at least one pendulum body that includes first and second pendulum masses axially spaced relative to each other and movable relative to the mounting, the first pendulum mass being axially placed on a first side of the mounting and the second pendulum mass being axially placed on a second side of the mounting, and at least one member to connect the first and second pendulum masses and couple the masses; and at least one rolling member that guides the movement of the pendulum body relative to the mounting. The rolling member engages with a rolling track secured to the mounting and with a rolling track secured to the pendulum body and defined by the connecting member. The rolling member exerts an axial clamping force on one of the pendulum masses during movement of the one pendulum mass relative to the mounting.

Torsional damping device for a motor vehicle transmission system

A device for damping torsion oscillations comprises support rotatably movable about an axis. A pendular body comprises first and second axially spaced pendular masses movable relative to the support. The first mass disposed axially on a first side of the support and the second mass disposed axially on a second side of the support. A member connects the first and second pendular masses. Each mass includes an opening in which the connecting member is force-fitted. The openings have radially exterior and interior edges. The connecting member has radially interior and exterior edges. The radially exterior edge extends between two angular ends of the connecting member, each defined by a lug. Each mass exerts a force on each lug, and via a one nose piece projecting radially and carried by the radially interior edge of the opening or the radially interior edge of the connecting member.

Method for assembling a pendulum-type damping device and damping device

A filtering mechanism for torque fluctuations is interposed between a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine and a transmission. This mechanism comprises a rotating member to be damped, an oscillating inertial flywheel rotating around the axis of revolution, and pivot-mounted modules allowing angular deflection of the oscillating inertial flywheel with respect to the member to be damped. The modules each have at least one oscillating arm pivoting radially with respect to the member to be damped and a kinematic connecting member between the oscillating arm and the oscillating inertial flywheel. When the mechanism rotates centrifugal forces on the oscillating arm produce a counteracting torque that tends to return the oscillating inertial flywheel and the member to be damped toward the equilibrium position. The counteracting torque increases with the rotation speed of the filtering mechanism and with the amplitude of the angular deflection.
