A shower drainage arrangement that has a vertically extending drain opening () for the shower water which is to be channelled away. Arranged downstream of the drain opening () is a stench trap (), which can be connected to a disposal line (). The drainage arrangement () has an inflow housing () which can be installed in a vertical wall () and which forms a chamber () which is arranged downstream of the drain opening () and is intended to allow inspection of the stench trap (). A covering () is preferably positioned on the front of the inflow housing (), and this covering can be removed to allow inspection of the stench trap (). The invention allows straightforward production of a shower with a drain opening () arranged in a wall.
