A cooking assistance device is for weighing a kitchen appliance or food container and then calculating a weight of food contained by the kitchen appliance or container based on a known dry weight. The food weight is provided to cooking aid device (which may be an integral part of the assistance device or it may be a remote device) for providing cooking instructions to a user. The device is thus able to coordinate the use of multiple kitchen appliances or utensils for example when a recipe is being followed by a user, with user instructions, information or advice being provided.

Automatic cooking assistance device and method to provide cooking instructions

A table-top kitchen device, comprising a first food preparation chamber and at least a second food preparation chamber. The first and second food preparation chamber are operable simultaneously to prepare food that in use is received therein. The first and second food preparation chamber are physically separated from each other in such way that each chamber includes an autonomous cooking environment, wherein the cooking conditions, that is, a cooking method and/or at least one cooking parameter can differ per food preparation chamber.

Table-top cooking device

There is provided a food processing apparatus () for use with a near-infrared light source and a sensor. The apparatus comprises a food processing chamber () configured to receive a food stuff, a food processing unit () configured to process the food stuff in the food processing chamber, and an optical component () configured to reflect emitted near-infrared light from the near-infrared light source towards the sensor, wherein the optical component is arranged at the food processing unit or a channel formed in the food processing chamber.

A drive mechanism () located within the housing () is arranged to apply rotational motion to rotate the tweezer portion () about the axis. By providing an opening () through the housing () of the epilator () from the front () to the rear side (), collection of hair and debris beneath the tweezer portion () is avoided.
