Systems and methods are disclosed for optimizing resources while maintaining user experiences. Disclosed examples include an adaptive energy system whereby resource use can be optimized by influencing a communication path to utilize a subset of available resources in an efficient manner. Quality metrics are monitored such that optimization measures are implemented only if they do not negatively impact user experiences beyond a threshold.

Methods and systems for data access are disclosed. An example method can comprise receiving a request to access user data. In one aspect, the request can comprise an offer, and the request and the offer can be provided to one or more users. The users can be associated with the user data. The users may grant or deny access to the requested user data in response to the request and in consideration of the offer.

Market exchange for user data and rewards

A content providing service may employ a variety of streaming devices such as servers, and may associate or assign the servers to different content duration time ranges. Each server may then be responsible for servicing requests for content whose duration lies within the server's assigned content duration time range. In response to overload or underload status of a server, the server's time range may be adjusted. The time range of other servers in the system may also be adjusted to compensate.

Systems and methods for implementing a dynamic broadcast campaign and/or an interactive broadcast campaign are provided, in which an interactive program is broadcast to an audience and in which members of the audience may interact with media content of the interactive program and/or in which a dynamic program is broadcast to a segment of the audience. The systems and methods utilize a platform that facilitates the creation, execution, and monitoring of a dynamic broadcast campaign and/or an interactive broadcast campaign, as well as one or more interactive and/or dynamic programs within the campaign. Each interactive program enables audience members to interact or send messages to the program, such that the messages are received and processed by the program itself or received by the program and processed by the broadcaster that aired the program.

Systems and methods for implementing a dynamic and/or interactive media campaign

A method of dynamic advertisement insertion is disclosed where an essentially limitless number of non-staged, unbound advertisement advertisements are made available for advertisement insertion. The dynamic advertisement insertion may include the use of stage, bound advertisements so as to permit dynamic insertion of staged and non-staged advertisements.
