A multi-use exercise equipment anchor system adapted for removably mounting in a tubular receptacle disposed in line with a vehicle's chassis or frame. The tubular receptacle may be disposed along the chassis' center line or offset parallel to the chassis' center line. The equipment anchor may comprise a tubular comprising a first end portion angularly joined to a second end portion. The first end portion being at least partially inserted into the tubular receptacle and the second end portion extending from the receptacle and diagonally descending away from the receptacle to a point adjacent the surface on which the vehicle resides. The second end portion may comprise openings and other means for attaching exercise equipment such as elastic bands, a battle rope, or a landmine to the equipment anchor. The anchor may comprise a tubular comprising a square cross section, a rectangular cross section, or a circular cross section.

A bolster for a degradation pick includes a transverse cross section that is non-circular. Non-circular cross sections include square, triangular, hexagonal and other shapes. The bolster is made from a wear and/or erosion resistant material. The wear and/or erosion resistant material helps to protect the shank of the degradation pick. The bolster has a matching shape to the shape of the shank of the degradation pick.

The matrix is mechanically interlocked with the body and at least a portion of the matrix is positioned circumferentially around at least a portion of the forward portion of the body.

A body of a degradation pick may comprise a substantially conical frustum. A hammer element may be integrally formed with the substantially conical frustum and extend there from in one radial direction. A shank may protrude from the body opposite a narrow end of the substantially conical frustum.

In one aspect of the invention, a degradation element includes a substrate bonded to a sintered polycrystalline ceramic. The sintered polycrystalline ceramic has a tapering shape and a rounded apex. The rounded apex has a curvature with a 0.050 to 0.150 inch radius when viewed from a direction normal to a central axis of the degradation element that intersects the curvature. The rounded apex includes the characteristic of when the rounded apex is loaded against a rock formation, the rounded apex fails the rock formation forming a crushed barrier ahead of the rounded apex that shields the rounded apex from a virgin portion of the rock formation while still allowing the rounded apex to penetrate below a surface of the rock formation.

A pocket restitution assembly comprises a pocket formed in a surface that includes a central axis, an anchor seated in the pocket and aligned with the central axis, a tool attachment comprising an end for connection to the anchor, and a hollow bit slidably and rotatably sitting on the tool attachment. The hollow bit may fit within the pocket. Weld material may be deposited within the pocket to form an interior of the pocket. The weld material may be shaped by the hollow bit to accept a cutting element.
