A method for treating a subject by applying one or more pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) signals, the method including: providing an array of a plurality of loop antennas coupled to a corresponding one or more generator circuits in an enclosure configured to house at least the array of plural loop antennas, the enclosure including a treatment surface configured to be placed proximate the subject; activating one or more of the generator circuits to generate one or more preliminary treatment signals to corresponding one or more of the loop antennas; detecting a presence of the subject; and upon a condition of detecting the subject being proximate the treatment surface, activating the one or more of the generator circuits to generate another one or more treatment signals associated with the subject to the corresponding one or more loop antennas.

Multi-coil electromagnetic apparatus

An apparatus for providing pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) treatment that comprises an enclosure; one or more first electrically-conductive loops connected to one or more corresponding signal generators configured to generate one or more PEMF signals at the one or more first electrically-conductive loops; one or more second electrically-conductive loops each connected to a respective tunable non-active circuit, the one or more second electrically-conductive loops being arranged at a predetermined distance from the one or more first electrically-conductive loops within the enclosure to form an array, each tunable non-active circuit having at least one variable capacitor for tuning each of the one or more second electrically-conductive loops to the one or more PEMF signals.

An apparatus for treating a behavioral condition of an animal, including a loop coil; a signal generator coupled to the loop coil, the signal generator being configured to transmit a treatment signal through the loop coil; and a harness connected to one or more of the loop coil and the signal generator, the harness including one or more fasteners each configured to fasten to one or more of a neck and a forelimb joint of the animal to position the loop coil proximate a head of the animal, the treatment signal including a plurality of bursts having a peak amplitude of less than about 200 milliGauss, the plurality of bursts having an average duration of between about 0.5 msec and about 50 msec, and the plurality of bursts being repeated at between 0.01 and 100 Hz.

A pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) treatment apparatus having electrically-conductive loops arranged within an enclosure to form an array, each of the electrically-conductive loops having a generally circular circumference with one or more indentations aligned with a corresponding indentation of an adjacent electrically-conductive loop, where PEMF signals are generated through the array of electrically-conductive loops based on proximity detection conducted by a corresponding wireless device.
