A foreign object debris (FOD) protection cover includes a dielectric barrier assembly having an integrated washer. The dielectric barrier assembly includes a base and one or more barrier walls integrally formed with the base. The washer is integrally formed in the base and includes a hole extending radially about a center axis of the washer. The base and the barrier wall of the dielectric barrier assembly are formed from a dielectric material, and the washer is formed from an electrically conductive material.

In accordance with at least one aspect of this disclosure, a system includes a heat sink. In embodiments, the heat sink can include, a fin body, having a first face and a second face, one or more fins extending vertically from the fin body, and a clip disposed on one of the first face and/or the second face configured to attach to a heat generating component of a LRU to dissipate heat energy from the heat generating component of the LRU to an ambient environment. In embodiments, the heat generating component can include a bus bar, for example.

Clip-on dielectric thermal dissipation fins

A conductor shielding termination assembly can include a housing tube defining an inner diameter housing channel therethrough. The housing tube can be made of conductive material. The assembly can include a shoulder bushing configured to insert within the inner diameter housing channel of the housing tube. The shoulder bushing can define an inner diameter bushing channel sized to receive an unshielded portion of a conductor. The assembly can include a clamping assembly configured to clamp around the housing tube and/or the conductor to axially lock the housing tube and the conductor and to trap a shielding termination between the housing tube and the clamping assembly. The clamping assembly can form a clamping inner diameter channel sized to receive a shielded portion of the conductor.

Electrical shielding termination systems

A circuit mounting assembly can include a circuit board, a chassis, a sheet of thermally conductive dielectric material, and one or more fasteners configured to compress the sheet between the circuit board and the chassis to provide vibration isolation and electrical isolation between the chassis and the circuit board, and to provide thermal conduction between the chassis and the circuit board.

Circuit mounting assemblies

A conductor shielding termination assembly can include a housing tube defining an inner diameter housing channel therethrough and having housing threads on an outer diameter thereof. The housing tube can be made of conductive material. The assembly can include a shoulder bushing configured to insert within the inner diameter housing channel of the housing tube. The shoulder bushing can define an inner diameter bushing channel sized to receive an unshielded portion of a conductor. The assembly can include a jam nut comprising a nut inner diameter channel sized to receive a shielded portion of the conductor and nut threads on an inner diameter thereof configured to mesh with the housing threads. The jam nut and housing tube can be configured to trap a shielding termination within the meshed housing threads and jam nut threads.

A power feeder device can include a base having a mounting portion and a plurality of connector structures extending from the mounting portion and spaced apart relative to each other to form a respective gap therebetween. Each connector structure can be configured to receive a respective pair of terminals to electrically connect the respective pair of terminals within connector structures and to block a line of sight between an adjacent pair of terminals. The device can also include a cover configured to mate with the base to enclose each of the plurality of connector structures and to increase a length of a creepage path between each pair of terminals by at least partially inserting into each gap between the connector structures. The base and the cover can be configured to form a terminal opening on each lateral side when assembled to allow pass-through of a conductor and/or portion of each terminal.

Power feeder connector devices

A connector for an electrical assembly includes an electrically conductive connector tab extending from a first electrical component, and a spring element wrapped around the connector tab. An electrically conductive connector slot is located at a second electrical component. The connector tab is configured for insertion into the connector slot such that the spring element is compressed between the connector tab and the connector slot defining an electrically conductive path between the connector tab and the connector slot.

A power feeder device can include a base having a mounting portion and a plurality of connector structures extending from the mounting portion and spaced apart relative to each other to form a respective gap therebetween. Each connector structure can be configured to receive a respective pair of terminals to electrically connect the respective pair of terminals within connector structures and to block a line of sight between adjacent pairs of terminals. The device can also include a cover configured to mate with the base to enclose each of the plurality of connector structures and to increase a length of a creepage path between each pair of terminals by at least partially inserting into each gap between the connector structures. The base and the cover can be configured to form a terminal opening on each lateral side when assembled to allow pass-through of a conductor and/or portion of each terminal.

A system includes a mechanical switching device having a first moveable contact operatively connected to selectively contact a first static contact. A second moveable contact is operatively connected to selectively contact a second static contact that is electrically connected in parallel with the first static contact. The first and second moveable contacts are mechanically connected to each other to move between a closed circuit position and an open circuit position. The first moveable contact contacts the first static contact before the second moveable contact contacts the second static contact as the first and second moveable contacts move into the closed circuit position from the open circuit position. The first moveable contact disconnects from the first static contact after the second moveable contact disconnects from the second static contact as the first and second moveable contacts move from the closed circuit position into the open circuit position.

Dual parallel moveable electrical contacts/relays

A relay contactor is provided and includes input and output leads, a shaft assembly, an actuator and first and second bearing assemblies. The shaft assembly includes a shaft, a plate disposed on the shaft and an elastic element. The shaft and the plate are movable between an open position at which the plate is displaced from the input and output leads and a closed position at which the plate contacts the input and output leads. The actuator is coupled to the shaft at a first side of the plate and is configured to selectively move the shaft and the plate into the closed position in opposition to bias applied by the elastic element. The first and second bearing assemblies are disposed to movably support the shaft at the first side and at a second side of the plate, respectively.

Relay contactor dual linear actuator module system

A relay contactor is provided and includes a shaft assembly comprising a plate, which is movable between an open position at which the plate is displaced from leads and a closed position at which the plate contacts the leads and an actuation system configured to selectively move the plate into the closed position. At least one of the shaft assembly and the actuation system is configured such that, as the plate moves into and away from the closed position, a movement of the plate relative to the leads comprises at least a non-linear, rotational or an abnormally linear component.

Relay contactor with combined linear and rotation motion

A contactor with a rotary actuation system, the contactor including a plurality of switching devices configured to switch a plurality of electrical circuits, a plurality of cam followers each operably coupled to one of the switching devices, wherein each cam follower is configured to actuate a switching device, and a cam mechanism, the cam pivotally attached to a point rotation, the cam having plurality of lobes about its perimeter, the cam in operable communication with each cam follower such that upon rotation of the cam mechanism, each cam follower engages a lobe of the plurality of lobes, it causes each cam follower to actuate the respective switching device. The contactor also includes an actuator connected to the cam, the actuator responsive to a control current and operable to rotate the cam and a controller, the controller operable to supply a control current the actuator.

Rotary relay contactor

A direct current (DC) overvoltage monitoring and protection device includes an overvoltage sensor operably connected to an electrical power input line. The overvoltage sensor is configured to change state upon detection of a voltage over a preselected threshold. An overvoltage relay is operably connected to the overvoltage sensor. The overvoltage relay includes one or more relay switches configured to move between a first position and a second position when the voltage over the preselected threshold is detected. An independent relay power source is operably connected to the overvoltage relay to provide electrical power to the overvoltage relay, separate from the electrical power being monitored via the electrical power input line.
