A rotor-type apparatus for centrifugal cleaning of crankcase gases from a combustion engine. The rotor is hydraulically driven by pressurized oil by means of a turbine wheel located in an oil collection chamber. A pressure equalizing and gas discharging conduit, which extends into the collection chamber and has an upper aperture located above a liquid level of the oil in the collection chamber during the operation, is connected to an outlet conduit for the propellant oil from the collection chamber.

Apparatus for cleaning crankcase gases

A device for the separation of oil droplets and/or oil mist from blow-by gases of an internal combustion engine with a valve for the control of the gas stream through the air-oil separator. The valve has a valve body with at least two or several gas passage openings as well as a valve closure for the closure of gas passage openings of the valve body.

Device for the separation of oil droplets and/or oil mist

A liquid separation device for the separation of liquid or liquid mist from a gas, with at least one pair of basic carriers being a first and a second plate-shaped basic carrier, where in each of the first and the second basic carrier, at least two separator elements are formed. The separator elements each have a passage pipe with a gas inlet and a gas outlet, which are arranged at opposite sides of the respective plate-shaped basic carrier in such a way that the passage pipe extends through the respective plate-shaped basic carrier. The first and the second basic carrier being arranged one next to the other in flow direction of the gas. Each of the two separator elements in both basic carriers in which the separator elements are arranged adjacent to each other, with their passage pipes form continuous flow paths for the gas. At least in the transition area of a flow path from an upstream passage pipe to an adjacent downstream passage pipe, the inner diameter of the downstream passage pipe is larger than the inner diameter of the adjacent upstream passage pipe.

Separation device for liquids

A ventilation system for the ventilation and for the aeration of an internal combustion engine is described and depicted. The ventilation system may have an intake pipe and a supercharger in the intake pipe, and an air-oil separator for the separation of oil and/or oil mist from blow-by gases with at least one inlet and at least one outlet.
