The electric machine has a stator with windings connected to phase connections. An insulating cap protects the reciprocally connected portions of the phase connections and windings. The insulating cap has a box-shaped body with an opening for the introduction of a winding within it. The body defines a seat housing the phase connection. The seat is formed in one piece with the body.

Method for production of supporting basket for an end winding

An insulating cover or a bar-to-bar connection of a stator winding of an electric machine has only one opening and is made from a flexible insulating material embedding the bar-to-bar connection entirely in a tight fit. Methods for producing and applying such an insulating cover are also provided.

Insulating cover for a bar to bar connection of a stator winding of an electric machine

A rotating electrical machine () has a rotor (), which rotates about an axis () and is surrounded concentrically by a stator () having a stator winding () inserted into a stator body (), the stator winding () including, in a concentric arrangement, a lower layer (), which is more remote from the axis, and an upper layer (), which is closer to the axis, of axially extending winding bars (), which emerge from the stator body () at the ends of the stator () and are arranged, within an end winding (), with their bar ends (), on two concentric circles in pairs one above the other in the radial direction. With such a machine, simplified production of the stator winding () with, at the same time, a high dielectric strength is achieved by virtue of the fact that in those winding bars () of a pair which belong to different phases within a phase segregation, radial spreading () of the bar ends () is provided so as to increase the radial distance between the different phases.

Rotating electrical machine and method for producing such a machine

In a connection arrangement () for the stator winding of a turbo machine with two or more parallel circuits of individual conductors () per phase, the individual conductors belonging to one phase form a phase group () and run directly adjacent to one another in the stator body, the individual conductors of the winding are each connected from a winding connection () to an external connection () via a phase ring (), which runs concentrically with respect to the machine axis (). A simplification of the manufacture and assembly as well as a reduction in space requirements and an improvement in the thermal properties are achieved by the phase rings () of a phase group each being led together as a phase ring group () from the winding connections () to the external connections ().

Connection arrangement for the stator winding of a turbo machine having two or more parallel circuits

An electric machine with a rotor and a stator, especially an electric motor or a generator, preferably for a power plant, wherein the stator has a winding with several winding bars which, in the area of an axial core face, are each connected via a phase connector bar to a terminal of the stator winding so as to be electrically conductive. Several phase connector bars extend between their ends in a ring segment manner along the circumference of the stator and rest internally and radially on at least one support. Several such supports are distributed along the circumference in the area of the core face. On at least one support, there is a phase connector bar between two stationary axial stops; with its inside, said phase connector bar is axially in contact with the first axial stop or with a spacer, and with its outside, it is axially in contact with the second axial stop or with a spacer. At least one pretensioning device is provided which uses axial spring force to press the phase connector bar against the corresponding axial stop and/or against the corresponding spacer so that contact is made.

Electrical machine with a rotor and stator

An apparatus () for supporting a winding () on a stator (), in particular on a generator stator in a power station. The winding () has an end winding () which is supported axially on the core () of the stator () via winding supports () of the supporting apparatus (). The winding supports () are supported on the end winding () via a stressing device (), at right angles to an envelope surface (). In order to improve the axial position between the winding support () and the end winding () during operation of the stator (), a coupling device () is provided which allows relative movements between the end winding () and the winding support () in the circumferential direction and at right angles to the envelope surface (), and prevents such relative movements in an envelope line direction ().

Apparatus for supporting a stator end winding

A horizontal-axis electrical machine has an built-in stator concentrically surrounded by a number of parallel retaining rings that spaced apart from one another in the axial direction and are connected on their outer circumference on opposing sides in each case by means of retaining structures to a base frame which extends in the axial direction. A horizontally acting spring, which has the form of a perpendicular, longitudinal plate, is fixed on the one hand with its ends to the associated retaining ring, and is firmly connected on the other hand with its freely flexible central part to the base frame by means of connecting elements, being provided within each of the retaining structures. Improved oscillation isolation between the built-in stator and the base frame is achieved in such an electrical machine by vertically acting spring elements disposed between the ends of the spring and the associated retaining ring.

Horizontal-axis electrical machine

The invention relates to a device ( ) for tensioning a winding ( ) of a stator ( ), in particular a generator stator ( ) of a power plant. The winding ( ) includes a winding head ( ). Several winding supports ( ) are arranged at the front side ( ) of the core ( ). Each winding support ( ) abuts against the front side ( ) of the core ( ) and via a pressure spring element ( ) against the funnel-shaped outer side ( ) of the winding head ( ). The winding supports ( ) are fixed at the winding head ( ) in the circumferential direction and in the surface line direction of the winding head ( ). The winding supports ( ) are movable perpendicularly with respect to the outer side ( ).

Device for tensioning a stator winding

In a generator with an indirectly gas-cooled, in particular air-cooled, stator winding ( ), the end regions of the stator bore ( ) are to be designed in such a way that the conductor bars are shielded as effectively as possible by the laminated stator core ( ) against magnetic fields inducing eddy currents, but, on the other hand, a specific radial dimension between the rotor retaining ring ( ) and the laminated stator core ( ) is ensured. According to the invention, for this purpose, the end region of the stator bore is designed with four axial zones having a different diameter profile. A first zone (I) is the interior of the stator with the constant nominal stator bore diameter (D ). Toward the end face of the stator is arranged a second zone (II) with a stator bore diameter (D ) widening toward the end face. The stator bore widens, there, to the diameter of a third zone (III) with an at least approximately constant diameter (D ), this diameter, on the one hand, being large enough to ensure a necessary distance from the rotor retaining ring, but continuing to ensure a good overlap over the stator conductor bars by the laminated core.

Electric machine

In a gas-cooled electrical machine, the conductor bars (,) in the winding overhang are cooled directly by a flow element of the cooling gas flow which is passed through cooling channels (,) located within the eyes (,) of the bar ends. To this end, the bar levels of the winding bars, which are designed as a two-level bar, are spaced apart from one another in the eye region, and thus form a radial cooling channel (,). These radial cooling channels (,) are coupled to the discharge eyes (,) by pipe connections (,) which are connected electrically, and in terms of the flow, to round connections (,). The cooling channels (,) in the round connections (,) are connected by insulating tubes (,) or insulating hoses to an induction area (,) of the machine fan, which is separated from the winding overhang area (,) by a bulkhead wall (,). The flow into the cooling channels (,) is forced to flow in the radial flow direction by a casing (,), which is arranged in an annular shape in the winding overhang area adjacent to the ends of the eyes (,).

Gas-cooled electrical machine

In a gas-cooled electrical machine, the conductor bars (3, 4) in the winding overhang are cooled directly by a flow element of the cooling gas flow which is passed through cooling channels (8) located within the eyes (5a, 5b) of the bar ends. To this end, the bar levels of the winding bars, which are designed as a two-level bar, are spaced apart from one another in the eye region, and thus form a radial cooling channel (8). These radial cooling channels (8) are coupled to the discharge eyes (5b) by pipe connections (10) which are connected electrically, and in terms of the flow, to round connections (20). The cooling channels (9) in the round connections (20) are connected by means of insulating tubes (31) or insulating hoses to an induction area (32) of the machine fan, which is separated from the winding overhang area (30) by a bulkhead wall (33). The invention allows the bar ends and the round connections (20) connected to them in the winding overhang to be cooled optimally, since the cooling is direct.
