A method for contextual data visualization includes receiving data selected by a user and meta-data associated with the data. The data is analyzed, using a processor of a computing device, to determine content and structure attributes of the data that are relevant to visualization of the data. The meta-data is analyzed, using a processor of the computing device, to determine a context in which the visualization of the data will be used. A database comprising an aggregation of visualization records from a plurality of users is accessed and at least one template from the data visualization records that matches the data attributes and context is selected. A data visualization is created by applying at least one template to the data.

A method, system, and computer program product for initiating actions among devices are described. A relative position of at least one device to at least one other device is determined, and one or more rules specifying at least one action to initiate based at least in part on the relative position of the at least one device to the at least one other device are obtained. The one or more rules can differ based on the relative position of the devices. The at least one action is initiated using a processor of the at least one device.

A system and computer implemented method for managing a vehicle incident is disclosed. The method may include monitoring, in response to a triggering event, a first vehicle having a first vehicle state including a set of physical condition characteristics. The method may also include detecting, for the first vehicle, a vehicle incident including a change of one or more physical condition characteristics of the set of physical condition characteristics. The method may also include collecting, in response to detecting the vehicle incident for the first vehicle, incident circumstance information including a set of potential causes of the vehicle incident. In certain embodiments, the method may include providing incident data based on at least a portion of the incident circumstance information and at least a portion of the change of one or more physical condition characteristics.

The cognitive system receives a first indication that a group text messaging conversation is in a muted state for a first user. The cognitive system detects a first use of a referential phrase in the group text messaging conversation during a first time period when the group text messaging conversation is in the muted state. The cognitive system receives a second indication that the group text messaging conversation is in a non-muted state. The cognitive system detects a second use of the referential phrase in the group text messaging conversation during a second time period when the group text messaging conversation is in the non-muted state. The second time period is subsequent to the first time period. The cognitive system alters a message containing the second use of the referential phrase within the group text messaging conversation.

Indexing the audio file to create a plurality of indexed segments based upon audio analysis may include, for each audio characteristic among a plurality of designated audio characteristics, creating from the audio file at least one indexed segment corresponding to the audio characteristic.

A method, a system and a computer program product provide responses to inquiries residing within text processed by an application. An inquiry is identified within text being processed by the application, and a context of the identified inquiry is determined. One or more available data sources is searched to produce a series of responses to the identified inquiry, and the series of responses is evaluated to rank and determine an accuracy level value for each response. The ranked responses along with associated accuracy levels can be displayed.
