An embodiment of an electronic apparatus may include one or more substrates, and a controller coupled to the one or more substrates, the controller including circuitry to control access to persistent media, and manage an endurance of the persistent media based on one or more endurance hints from an external source. An apparatus and system are described to provide indoor positioning and movement information using a private next generation (NG) network. A heatmap of pathloss vs distance from a remote radio unit (RRU) is provided from the UE and federated with other heatmaps from different UEs under similar conditions. The federated heatmap is provided to the UE. A private location server containing an AI module is trained using data from the UEs. The location and movement of the UE is determined to a particular pixel based on the heatmap. WiFi reference points (RP) are used if multiple pixels satisfy data of the heatmap.

Locating and tracking in private next generation networks

A system is disclosed for quarantining and recovery of a network after an outage or in advance of a potential outage. Unaffected network slices are isolated and recovery is initiated by quarantine physical and virtual network functions. An AI model is trained based on recent events detected by sensors disposed throughout the network to determine whether to quarantine network slices, move services to unaffected network slices, or initiate recovery. Once the network is stabilized, resources that are specifically allocated for recovery and services are released and the traffic moved back to the recovered network slices.

An example apparatus includes caching function execution circuitry to evaluate a caching function with (A) a type of an SLA corresponding to a profile associated with a device requesting the media and (B) metadata corresponding to an entry of the cache corresponding to the media, the profile corresponding to an identification (ID). The example apparatus also includes caching policy circuitry to, in response to the caching function indicating that the metadata satisfies the SLA, cause transmission of the entry of the cache to the device that requested the media.

System and techniques for infrastructure managed workload distribution are described herein. An infrastructure processing unit (IPU) receives a workload that includes a workload definition. The workload definition includes stages of the workload and a performance expectation. The IPU provides the workload, for execution, to a processing unit of a compute node to which the IPU belongs. The IPU monitors execution of the workload to determine that a stage of the workload is performing outside of the performance expectation from the workload definition. In response, the IPU modifies the execution of the workload.

A system, includes a processor; and memory to store instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the system to: receive at a resilient security island (RSI) partition of a first network node, an update from a source, the first network node hosting the RSI partition and a host partition, the RSI comprising reserved hardware resources of the first network node; verify, by the RSI, provenance of the update; apply, by the RSI, the update to modify a configuration of the RSI or the host partition; test, by the RSI, the modified configuration of the RSI or the host partition; and provide a cryptographic proof that the test was completed and an update status to an update coordinator.

System and techniques for hands-free deployment of geographically linked applications are described herein. A radio transceiver of a vehicle may detect a beacon. Here, the beacon includes an indication that an application linked to a geographical area covered by the beacon is available. The vehicle may establish a secure communications link with an application server corresponding to the beacon and receive, through the secure communications link, an application. Then, the vehicle may execute the application in a protected execution environment without intervention by a user of the vehicle.

An example apparatus includes memory, instructions, and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to initiate a search for one of an access point or a cluster head at a first time, in response to detection of the cluster head, initiate an intra-cluster mobile edge platform (MEP) mutual authentication associated with the cluster head, cause transmission of historical activity data to at least one MEP associated with the cluster head, and cause storage of an authentication metric in a secure storage, the authentication metric based on historical connectivity data.

Methods, apparatus and systems for adaptive fabric allocation for local and remote emerging memories-based prediction schemes. In conjunction with performing memory transfers between a compute host and memory device connected via one or more interconnect segments, memory read and write traffic is monitored for at least one interconnect segment having reconfigurable upstream lanes and downstream lanes. Predictions of expected read and write bandwidths for the at least one interconnect segment are then made. Based on the expected read and write bandwidths, the upstream lanes and downstream lanes are dynamically reconfigured. The interconnect segments include interconnect links such as Compute Exchange Link (CXL) flex buses and memory channels for local memory implementations, and fabric links for remote memory implementations. For local memory, management messages may be used to provide telemetry information containing the expected read and write bandwidths. For remote memory, telemetry information is provided to a fabric management component that is used to dynamically reconfigure one or more fabric links.

Embodiments of apparatuses, methods, and systems for a hierarchical multi-tenant processor scheme are disclosed. In an embodiment, a processor includes circuitry to execute threads, registers to store first values to define a tenant hierarchy, registers to store second values to specify a location of a thread corresponding to a tenant within the tenant hierarchy, and circuitry to include the second values in a request to access a resource. Use of the resource is to be monitored or controlled based on the location of the tenant within the tenant hierarchy.

Global unified interdependent multi-tenant quality-of-service processor scheme

Methods, apparatus, and software for remote storage of hardware microservices hosted on other processing units (XPUs) and SOC-XPU Platforms. The apparatus may be a platform including a System on Chip (SOC) and an XPU, such as a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). Software, via execution on the SOC, enables the platform to pre-provision storage space on a remote storage node and assign the storage space to the platform, wherein the pre-provisioned storage space includes one or more container images to be implemented as one or more hardware (HW) microservice front-ends. The XPU/FPGA is configured to implement one or more accelerator functions used to accelerate HW microservice backend operations that are offloaded from the one or more HW microservice front-ends. The platform is also configured to pre-provision a remote storage volume containing worker node components and access and persistently store worker node components.
