A mechanism is provided for a time data capsule from an electronic conference. Operations include identifying meeting input sources related to the electronic conference, capturing respective data of the meeting input sources from a start through an end of the electronic conference, and maintaining and creating timestamps for the respective data that is captured. The timestamps are associated with the respective data. Operations include aligning the respective data along a timeline according to the timestamps associated with the respective data from the meeting input sources, converting the respective data into text equivalents and/or text descriptions with the timestamps retained, and identifying a trigger during the electronic conference that causes a timebox to be created with a beginning and an ending time. The operations include extracting the respective data for the timestamps that correspond to the timebox, and creating a package with the extracted respective data from the meeting input sources.

A method and system for providing computerized education may provide a user with a first set of educational segments such as problem sets or presentations, and may further monitor the user's reactions and responses using electronic devices, including biometric sensors, to identify difficulty points. Reports may be generated and presented to the user or another party to assist in manual identification of the difficulty point. New or modified educational segments may be provided to the user based on the identified difficulty points.

A method for detecting and alerting a driver of vehicles in their blind spots, includes: tracking movement and relative position of a driver to one or more vehicles; determining one or more driver blind spots; determining when at least one of the one or more vehicles approaches one of the driver blind spots; determining when at least one of the one or more vehicles occupies one of the driver blind spots; activating one or more indicators in response to one or more vehicles approaching and occupying one of the driver blind spots; wherein the one or more indicators comprise light emitting diodes (LED), liquid crystal display (LCD), plasma, projected elements, and electroluminescent elements; and wherein a sequence and pattern of activating the one or more indicators is determined based on the relative position of the driver to the one or more vehicles.

A system and method for collecting and storing communications preferences of recipients and delivering communications to a recipient in accordance with the recipient's preferences is disclosed herein. Preferably, the communications preferences consist of at least one mail formatting preference and at least one sending preference. In an alternative embodiment, the system provides for a prompting function that can alter the communications preferences in the event that a particular preference must be changed. A system, program product and method for automatically adjusting the traffic light of a traffic light controlled intersection. Personal data relative to a pedestrian cross walking the intersection, including walking speed, and the current speed of a vehicle approaching the intersection are simultaneously acquired. Both the personal data and the vehicle current speed are processed to generate cross walk control signals, such as indicators of risk of collision between vehicle and pedestrian. Where the risk warrants action, the 'stop' condition of the traffic light is enable to warn the vehicle to stop. Traffic control signals are also generated to control the duration of the 'walk' condition for slow moving pedestrians.

Disclosed is a method, system and computer program for handing over a communication from a first party to a second party. The method comprises the steps of analyzing an audio communication with said first party for quality; and transcribing to text said audio communication with either a speech recognition function or a shadow or a human transcription service, based on said analyzing. The method comprises the further steps of editing the transcribed text; aligning said text with visual information viewed during said audio communication; and sending said transcribed text along with said visual information to said second party. The preferred embodiment of the invention provides a tool that can be used to great effect in the 'Call Handover' scenario.
