A device () for installing a tubular junction sleeve inside a pipe (), having a mandrel () of longitudinal axis (XX) supporting on its surface at least a first peripheral chamber () having a wall () that is radially expandable by inflation. The first wall including at least one electrical connector () suitable for being connected to one end of said heater wire. The connector being connected to an umbilical () including at least a compressed air feed duct for inflating the first chamber and an electrical power supply duct connected to the electrical connector. The device being characterized in that the mandrel supports on its outer surface a second peripheral chamber () having a wall () that is radially expandable by inflation, and also a weld inspection device () arranged in the longitudinal direction of the mandrel.

Device and method for installing a tubular joint sleeve for a pipe comprising an inner lining

A method of installing and implementing a rigid tube () referred to as a 'main' tube, wherein the following steps are performed: a) lowering an end of the main tube from a floating support or vessel () on the surface () to below sea level () to be connected to undersea equipment () that is immersed (); and b) maintaining the main tube as immersed in this way for a given period of time. The said main tube () is caused to pass through a cylindrical orifice () of circular section in a stress limiter device, the orifice having a slippery internal coating () secured to a support structure () secured to the floating support or vessel, the service tube thus being suitable for sliding in contact against the slippery coating during steps a) and b).

Method for installation and implementation of a rigid tube from a ship or floating support

A bottom-to-surface connection installation between a common floating support and the sea bottom, having a plurality of flexible lines such as flexible pipes extending between said floating support and the sea bottom. The flexible lines are supported by respective ones of a plurality of troughs each trough lying between two pipe portions defining a first flexible line portion in a hanging double catenary configuration between the floating support and the trough, and a second flexible line portion in a single catenary configuration between the trough and the point of contact of the flexible pipe with the sea bottom. The installation has at least one support structure having a base-forming bottom portion resting on and/or anchored to, or embedded in the sea bottom and a top portion supporting at least two troughs, respectively a bottom trough and a top trough, the troughs being arranged at different heights in such a manner that the low point of the first flexible line portion passing via the bottom trough is situated below the low point of the first flexible line portion passing via the top trough.

Multiple flexible seafloor-surface linking apparatus comprising at least two levels

A device for thermally insulating at least one undersea pipe. The device comprises a thermally insulating covering surrounding the pipe, the covering being covered by an outer leak proof protective case, and the case being made of a flexible or semi rigid material suitable for remaining in contact with the outside surface of the insulating covering when it deforms. The device is characterized in that the insulating covering comprises a phase-change material confined in at least one container made of a flexible or semi rigid material that is deformable, and the container is disposed around the pipe.
