A controllable assembly of current sources includes several first output terminals, with a first transistor associated with each first output terminal, the current on each first output terminal depending on the current flowing through the first transistor, and a circuit configured, in response to a predetermined variation of a control voltage, to successively progressively turn on, then progressively turn off, each first transistor. The first transistors are MOS transistors, and each first output terminal is associated with a current mirror formed of MOS transistors, the current mirror providing to the first output terminal a current depending on the current flowing through the first transistor.

Current source assembly controllable in response to a control voltage

A telephone line current amplifier comprises a current amplifying device comprising a first, second and third amplifier connected in cascade. The current from the third amplifier forms the output current of the current amplifying device. The current from the first amplifier subtracts from the current provided by the third amplifier, and the current from the second amplifier operates as a rectifier and outputs its current onto a power supply terminal. The power supply terminal is decoupled from ground via a capacitor. Another embodiment of the telephone line current amplifier comprises only two amplifiers if less severe distortion ratios are imposed.

Current amplifier, particularly for a telephone line

The present invention relates to a circuit including at least one analog processing cell having a time constant determined by a capacitor and a resistor. A calibration circuit comprises a bridge formed of a switched-capacitance resistor and of a resistor adjustable by means of a digital control signal; and a feedback loop to adjust the digital control signal so that the voltage at the midpoint of the bridge is equal to a predetermined fraction of the voltage applied across the bridge. The resistor of the processing cell is also adjustable by the digital control signal.
