A multi-site Building Management System (BMS) monitors performance of a local BMS at each of a plurality of remote sites. The multi-site BMS includes a controller that is configured to determine a plurality of local performance metrics associated with each local BMS based on the operational data received from each local BMS and to aggregate like ones of the plurality of local performance metrics, resulting in a plurality of aggregated performance metrics. The controller is configured to display on the display a plurality of panels, to display in each of the plurality of panels the corresponding one of the plurality of aggregated performance metrics and to display in each of the plurality of panels a ranking of one or more of the remote sites by their corresponding local performance metric.

A computer system provides a method for analyzing various parameters, variables and/or conditions associated with the operation of HVAC systems. Some example computer systems display a coordinate system with multiple graphs of variables and conditions having disparate units of measure, such as degrees Centigrade, percent, ppm, on/off, etc. In some examples, variables and conditions with similar units of measure are grouped together. The groups of similar units are plotted along different segments of the coordinate system's y-axis. The segments and their respective graphs of similar units are distributed vertically, one above the other. All of the graphs, however, share a common x-axis, which is labeled in units of time. This makes it easier to visually compare multiple, disparate variables and conditions at particular points in time. When an HVAC related problem occurs, the visual comparisons can help identify the problem and its source.

Systems and methods for monitoring operation of an HVAC system

A building management system, such as a small or medium business, having one or more control devices. Assigning codes to devices, and reading and listing them may aid in configuring the devices. Templates may be used for dynamic configuration of devices and equipment. Representing terminal assignments and wiring diagrams of control devices may be intuitive in that they resemble real hardware for ease of complete installation. The present system and approach may provide an intuitive way of securely registering devices with cloud usage, for example, involving a mobile phone with no manual entry of data so that a user can complete this process with ease. An intuitive, automatic and asynchronous device configuration downloading may be seen, such as to multiple control devices in a single shot. There may be seamless configuration data synchronization, for example, in view of replacement devices, or so the latest data is readily available.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium includes instructions for commissioning a power meter that has a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication capability, the instructions, when executed by one or more processors of a mobile device, cause the mobile device to discover the presence of the power meter by recognizing a signal produced by the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication capability of the power meter and receive a unique identifier for the power meter. When the received unique identifier matches a unique identifier stored by the power meter, the mobile device will establish a communication link between the mobile device and the power meter using the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication capability of the power meter and will transmit one or more commissioning parameters to the power meter via the established communication link between the mobile device and the power meter.

A plurality of directional sounders located in a region being monitored can be synchronously and sequentially activated in various patterns to establish an audibly defined exit route from the region. Emitted audio, from a respective sounder, can be different than the audio emitted by other activated sounders to provide a path and direction for evacuation to individuals in the vicinity of the exit route.
