An exoskeleton robotic equipment for tenodesis grasp and release training includes an exoskeleton mechanism and a control device. The exoskeleton mechanism includes a fixing seat worn on a forearm, an actuator device mounted to the fixing seat, and a transmission module connected to the fixing seat and pivotally connected to the actuator device and cooperating with the fixing seat and the actuator device to form a four-bar linkage mechanism. The actuator device is controlled by the control device to drive the transmission module to move relative to the fixing seat to change the transmission module into a release state and into a grasp state so as to move the index finger and the middle finger away from and toward the thumb.

Exoskeleton robotic equipment for tenodesis grasp and release training

A limb movement function evaluating method and the implantation system are provided. The aforementioned system includes a limb fixing device, limb guiding device, driver, actuator, impedance detector, and movement function analyzer. The limb fixing device is used to fix the first end of the user limb. The driver is used to guide the second end of the user limb through the actuator so as to make the second end moving relatively to the first end. The impedance detector is further connected to the driver so as to measure mechanical impedance where the movement of the user limb responses to the driving point of the driver. Finally, the limb movement analyzer compares the measured mechanical impedance and the movement path of the user limb so as to form a limb movement function curve. Therefore, the medical staff can make accurate rehabilitation evaluation according to the limb movement function curve.

An artificial implant for a carpometacarpal (CMC) joint used for replacing a CMC joint surface of the first metacarpal bone is provided and has: an insert portion having an inserting end for inserting into a bone marrow cavity exposed from an incision of the first metacarpal bone, and a front end; an articular replacement portion connected to the front end of the inserting portion and disposed outside the incision of the first metacarpal bone, and having an articular profile surface to replace the CMC joint surface of the first metacarpal bone; and an attached flange protruded from a peripheral of the articular replacement portion, attached to an outer bone surface of the first metacarpal bone adjacent to the incision, and having at least one suture hole, through which at least one suture passes for assisting to fix an abductor pollicis longus (APL) to the outer bone surface.

Artificial implant for carpometacarpal joint

Disclosed is an interferometer comprising a light source, a reflective element, and a photodetector. The light source is configured to emit a light beam, and an angle is formed by inclusion between a direction to which the light beam travels and the reflective element, the photodetector is configured to be substantially perpendicular to the reflective element. The light beam is halved into a first light beam propagating by the included angle, and a second light beam reflected off the reflective element, the first light beam and the second light beam interfere each other to form an interferogram on the photodetector, which detects the interferogram. By benefit of above, the interferometer does not need to reposition its parts in order to make adjustment to interferogram, thereby simplifying optical element setup and minimizing physical volume of the interferomger. Also disclosed is a spectrometer including the same interferometer and a Fourier-transform-capable analyzer.

An assistance mechanism includes a base, a rotatable link, a lifting unit and a power unit which provides power to the lifting unit so that the lifting unit drives the rotatable link. A seat is connected to the rotatable link so that when the rotatable link is activated, the user sitting on the seat is transformed from a sit status into a stand status. This effectively assists the user who does not have sufficient muscle forces to stand up by the assistance mechanism.

Assistance mechanism for assisting patients to stand up

An upper limbs rehabilitation device includes a main body, a rail, a movable member and a grip, wherein the main body has a first link and a second link pivotably connected to the first link. The rail is connected to the second link. The user holds the grip that is pivotably connected to the movable member and swings the upper limb to move the movable member along the rail so as to exercise the upper limb in multiple degrees of freedom.

Upper limbs rehabilitation device

A powered patient lift device includes a main frame having a beam and a wheel chassis. The top of the beam is pivotally connected with a lifting arm. One end of the lifting arm is provided with a seat. A power unit is adapted to drive a lifting unit which then links the lifting arm to move. A control unit is to activate the power unit. A knee support is disposed at a lower section of the beam. The knee support is provided with a knee pad to engage with a user's knee. When the lifting unit is activated, the lifting arm is linked to move the supporting unit to assist the user to stand up or to sit down.
