A method is provided for operating a power plant, having a waste heat-generating gas turbine unit and also rooms which are to be air conditioned. Waste heat, which is discharged directly to the outside of the gas turbine unit, is used for heating the rooms which are to be air conditioned. A gas turbine for carrying out the method is also provided.

Method for operating a power plant and gas turbine unit for implementing the method

A method and gas turbine are provided for the reliable purging of an exhaust gas recirculation line of the gas turbine with exhaust gas recirculation without the use of additional blow-off fans. A blow-off flow of the compressor is used for the purging of the exhaust gas recirculation line. The gas turbine can include at least one purging line which connects a compressor blow-off point to the exhaust gas recirculation line.

A method for operating a gas-supply system, particularly for a gas turbine, having a gas-carrying pipeline, a controllable compressor arranged in the pipeline and at least one consumer connected to the pipeline and located downstream from the compressor. The compressor is regulated as a function of a comparison between the setpoint discharge pressure of the compressor and the actual discharge pressure of the compressor. The energy consumption of the compressor can be reduced in that the setpoint discharge pressure of the compressor is determined as a function of a setpoint admission pressure of the consumer.
