A closure system for emergency release of a motor vehicle cavity that is closed with a lid of a trunk compartment, which comprises, in a lock on the trunk side, a rotary latch arranged such that it can pivot about a second axis of rotation, which latch is held securely in a closed position of the lid via a detent pawl arranged such that it can pivot about a first axis of rotation, and a catch hook associated with the rotary latch, wherein a striker is located on the lid side that stands in operative connection with the rotary latch in the closed position, in that the rotary latch locks the striker with respect to a lock housing, wherein the lid is temporarily captured and held in an intermediate position by the catch hook, via the striker, after deactivation of the locking of the rotary latch.

Closure system for emergency release of a trunk compartment, especially a front trunk compartment

An emergency release locking system for a trunk lid, with a lid lock and a catch device which has a catch hook and in the case of the opened rotary latch limits the opening movement of the lid, with an emergency release system disposed in the trunk, and with an actuator that is controlled by a control unit of the vehicle and drives a blocking element, which above a predetermined or predeterminable recommended speed of the vehicle stops at least the releasing action of the emergency release system on the catch hook of the catch device. The control unit is assigned, apart from a sensor unit for detecting the current driving speed of the vehicle, one sensor unit each for detecting the current operating position of the emergency release system and of the catch hook of the catch device.

A front hood safety closure system for motor vehicles includes a rotary latch disposed to swivel about an axis, a catch hook, a striker, as well as a retaining pawl disposed to swivel about an axis, in the closed position of the front hood, the rotary latch being connected to the striker located on the front hood in that the rotary latch receives the middle limb of the striker within a fork-shaped recess adapted to the shape of the striker, and when the locking of the front hood is released, the striker being connected to the catch hook performing a safety function upon release of the retention by the rotary latch, both the rotary latch and the retaining pawl assigned a stop. The catch hook is swivelable, independently of the rotary latch, about the catch hook axis, the catch hook axis being coincident with the rotary latch axis.
