An aircraft incorporates a lift system for guiding a lift cabin. The lift cabinis capable of servicing several decks in the aircraft. A guiding structure is mounted inside the aircraft fuselageby mounting it to the floor and deck structures, while allowing for strains between the floor and the deck in the vertical direction. The lift cabin is capable of travelling down to the ground if a door in the underside of the fuselage is provided. The lift cabin is arranged on the guiding structure using a bogie truck mounted on the lift cabin, and the bogie truck may be actively connected with profile rails of the guiding structure via roll blocks. The part of the bogie truck carrying the roll blocks or other guiding element may remain within the fuselage, when the cabin is positioned on the ground.

A rigid airship has a carrier frame with trianguar cross-ribs interconnected by longitudinal beams, one connectd to each corner of the triangle. Thus, prism-type frame sections are formed which are stiffened by diagonal tensioning members (D). The prism of each frame section (A) has two lateral sides and a base side. Each of the three sides is stiffened with two diagonal tensioning members. Junctions between neighboring frame sections are formed at the triangle corners. Carrier gas cells, the skin of which forms at least part of the airship skin, are secured in the frame sections. The base of each triangle cross-rib forms the base of the frame. One or more air chambers are formed in the belly of the airship below the base of the frame.

A shuttleless weaving machine employs filling-yarn transfer at the center of a shed from a first gripper system advanced from one side to a second gripper system approaching from the other side. The yarn transfer is implemented by opening and subsequently closing the clamping means of the gripper systems by means of control levers which are made to enter from the outside through the warp threads into the shed. The control levers are mounted at fixed locations and are so shaped and can be so pivoted from an operational position within the shed into a rest position below the shed that, when the reed beats up, the reed stay can pass unhindered over the control levers.

Several draw-in needles are arranged in parallel in a warp thread draw-in device. The draw-in needles can be coupled selectively individually or in combination to an advanceable carriage. When the carriage is advanced, only the selected and coupled draw-in needles are carried along whereby the draw-in procedure is carried out simultaneously. The selection of the draw-in needles as a function of the desired patterning can be implemented automatically by a program control.

This invention relates to an improvement in a device for coupling a heddle frame to reciprocatable drive bars with a first coupling part mounted on the frame of the heddle and with a second coupling part mounted to a drive bar, one of the coupling parts comprising drive means insertable between two parallel wall parts of the other coupling part, the coupling parts acting together by means of drive surfaces arranged transversely to the drive direction of the drive bar, the improvement which comprises the drive means being a hook-shaped element having wedging surfaces extending essentially transversely to the main direction of force of the drive bar and diverging toward the hook opening, a shaped element supported by a bearing in order to be limited in rotation positioned between the wall parts and provided with correspondingly located mating wedging surfaces adapted to be received in the hook-shaped element, means for pivoting the drive bar, together with the coupling part thereon, in the plane of the heddle frame to engage the other coupling part, and means for locking the coupling parts together in the plane.

This invention relates to an improvement in a weaving machine with fixed screening surfaces mounted below the plane of weaving and with a movable covering above the plane of weaving and separated from said screening surfaces by a warp-side and cloth-side gap, and with a climate-control system for the space enclosed by the screening and covering surfaces, the improvement comprising that the movable covering is a rigid hood means open toward the weaving plane and pivotal either (a) into a rear position, whereby the cloth-side part of the weaving machine with shed and reed and a passage to the warp-side are made accessible in order to remedy ruptures of filling and warp yarns, or (b) into a front position, whereby the warp-side part of the weaving machine and the heddles are made accessible for changing heddles.
