A method for maneuvering a vehicle having a trailer coupling in the region of a parking space is provided, wherein the vehicle has at least a first sensor and a second sensor and a control device, wherein it is detected whether an object is disposed in the region of the back of the vehicle, whether the object affects the parking behavior of the vehicle and whether the field of view of at least one sensor is blocked by the object. A vehicle for carrying out the method is further provided.

Method for maneuvering a vehicle having a trailer coupling in a parking space

A method for operating a parking assistance function of a motor vehicle is described, wherein the motor vehicle comprises at least one sensor for detecting the road surrounding the motor vehicle. The method includes the following steps: Finding and specifying a free parking space; Determining a trajectory for parking the motor vehicle in the parking space and a sequence of an at least partially automated parking process; Determining at least one outer boundary line of the road surface required for parking along the identified trajectory; Detecting at least one road user approaching the determined outer boundary line on the road by means of at least one sensor; Determining the distance of the road user approaching the determined outer boundary line from the outer boundary line; if the determined distance falls below a specified first threshold, outputting a warning signal to the approaching road user.

Method for operating a parking assistance function of a motor vehicle

A method for controlling a locking system for automatic locking and shutdown of a motor vehicle comprising a device for partially autonomous parking is described. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a request for automatic locking and shutdown of the motor vehicle; determining at least one feature which identifies an imminent use of the function for partially autonomous parking; evaluating the at least one feature captured and on the basis thereof determining whether a use of the function for partially autonomous parking is to be expected; delaying the automatic shutdown of the motor vehicle if it was determined that a use of the function for partially autonomous parking is to be expected.

Method and apparatus for controlling a locking system of a motor vehicle comprising a device for partially autonomous parking

A vehicle includes processors, a display, and a drone comprising a camera and sensors. The processors receive an input indicating a destination, generate a zone including the destination, cause the drone to capture images of the zone, identify an unoccupied parking spot from the images of the zone, and present the unoccupied parking spot on the display.
