The present invention relates to a cooking hob with a mobile upper part and a stationary or mobile lower part. The upper part includes at least one panel () arranged at its top side. The upper part includes at least one induction coil () arranged below the panel (). The upper part includes at least one rechargeable battery (). The upper part includes at least one inverter circuit for generating the alternating current for the induction coil (). The lower part includes a base plate (). The lower part includes a power supply circuit () arranged on the base plate () and connected or connectable to the grid. The upper part is attachable on and removable from the lower part by a user.

The invention in particular relates to an oven () for baking food products (). In order to improve automated heating procedures, the oven () comprises a camera () and a distance sensor (), for example, which are used in concert to enable precise extraction of product-features that are relevant and used with automated heating procedures.

Oven and method of operating the same

The present invention relates to a method for performing an automatic cooking process in an oven, wherein the oven is in a preheated state with a first starting temperature (T) in the beginning of said automatic cooking process. The method includes the following steps of switching off at least one heating element during a cooling down period () and finishing the cooling down period () after a cooling down time (t), when a predetermined first end temperature (T) has been reached. The cooling down time (t) is detected. The method includes the further steps of switching on at least one heating element during a heating up period () and finishing the heating up period () after a heating up time (t) and/or when a predetermined second end temperature (T) has been reached. A mathematical function () including the cooling down time (t) and the heating up time (t) is used in order to determine further parameters of the cooking process.

Method for performing an automatic cooking process

The invention relates to an oven (), especially to a domestic oven, with a cooking cavity (), wherein means () are arranged for supplying hot air to the cavity (). To improve the cooking result the invention is characterized in that the means () comprise at least two heating elements (), wherein air is ventilated along or through the heating elements () by at least one fan (). Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for operating such an oven.

The invention concerns a device for determining the temperature inside an item to be cooked (). The invention comprises at least one temperature sensor () for detecting at least one surface temperature of the item to be cooked () and/or an ambient temperature around the item to be cooked, particularly at a measuring location inside the cooking chamber surrounding the item to be cooked, preferably with an ambient temperature sensor which is arranged at said measuring location. Furthermore, the device comprises at least one distance sensor () for detecting one or multiple distances between the distance sensor () and one or multiple distance measuring points () on the surface of the item to be cooked (). In addition, the device comprises at least one time measuring device for measuring elapsed time during preparation of the item to be cooked () and at least one calculation device for calculating the temperature inside the item to be cooked () using the surface temperature of the item to be cooked () and/or the ambient temperature, the distance or multiple distances, elapsed time, and the start temperature of the item to be cooked (). Method for controlling the temperature of an oven, in particular a kitchen oven, so as to reach a preset temperature through a heating process during a predetermined heating period based on a control program, said control program consisting of a general basic control program predefined for a given type of oven and computationally adjusted by a static correction value that reflects the individual oven parameters, and/or a dynamic correction variable that takes into account variable operating parameters of the oven.
