The invention relates to a method for filling in a tension member in particular for conveyor belts, in particular a tension member which is configured as a steel cable. The method is intended to allow the full penetration of the tension member structure. Here, the method contains at least the following method steps: &#x2014;introducing the individual wires (&#x2033;&#x2033;) of the strand () into the stranding head () of a stranding machine () and &#x2014;partially or fully applying at least one coating agent to at least 50% of the individual wires (&#x2033;&#x2033;) of the strand () prior to the twisting of the individual wires (&#x2033;&#x2033;) to form a strand () or simultaneously with the twisting of the individual wires (&#x2033;&#x2033;) to form a strand () and &#x2014;twisting the individual wires (&#x2033;&#x2033;) to form a strand (), wherein at least 50% of the individual wires (&#x2033;&#x2033;) have been provided with at least one coating agent, and &#x2014;making a cable from at least one strand ().

Method for producing a tension member, tension member, and use thereof

The invention relates to a method for filling in a tension member in particular for conveyor belts, in particular a tension member which is configured as a steel cable. The invention relates to a conveyor system, comprising a conveyor belt, which has a carrying-side cover plate () and a running-side cover plate (), and comprising drums, supporting rollers, and supporting frames, wherein the conveyor system forms a material-conveying upper run having a feed point for the conveying material and a mostly material-free lower run. A v-ribbed belt manufactured in a molding or grinding process has in different areas of the structure thereof different elastomer materials. In upper rib segments oriented toward the belt pulley there is an elastomer material that is not electrically conductive. The lower rib segments are made of an electrically conductive elastomer material. The height ratio a/(a+b) of the height (a) of the lower rib segments to the overall height (a+b) of the rib, as measured at the material boundary located at the rib flank, is at least 6 percent, or the absolute height of the lower rib segments is at least 0.12 mm.
