A pneumatic tire for a vehicle with a tread having at least one profile rib, which is delimited on at least one side thereof by a circumferential groove. The circumferential groove has, when viewed in cross section, a portion running in the radial direction and having a width of up to 3.0 mm and, adjoining it, a radially inner channel region. The radially inner channel region is delimited by two channel walls and a channel base forming the groove base, and has a larger cross-sectional area and is made wider in each case than the portion running in the radial direction. The profile rib is provided over its circumference with sipes, which merge into the circumferential groove, run at an angle of 0° to 50° with respect to the axial direction and have a width of 0.4 mm to 1.2 mm and a maximum depth of 70% to 100% of the profile depth, and have sipe walls. Each sipe is locally widened by at least one channel which is open to the tread periphery and merges into the radially inner channel region of the circumferential groove. The channel is formed by a depression formed in one sipe wall and a depression formed on the other sipe wall, opposite the first depression.

Commercial vehicle tire of radial design with a tread with circumferential grooves formed to a profile depth, which divide the tread into at least two profile ribs () running in the central region of the tread with profile blocks () separated from one another by transverse grooves () and into shoulder-side profile ribs, wherein at least one of the circumferential grooves () adjoining a central profile rib () has, in cross section, a radially outer sipe-like narrow section () and a channel () adjoining this in the interior of the tread which is configured to be wider than the sipe-like narrow section () and which is delimited by two channel walls () and a channel bottom () forming the groove bottom, and wherein this circumferential groove () is interrupted in its course by entry points of transverse grooves (). Opposite the entry points, a projection (') is formed locally in each case on the channel wall () located opposite the entry points of the transverse grooves ().

A pneumatic vehicle tire, in particular utility vehicle tire, having a tread which has a directional profiling with shoulder-side and middle profile ribs running in a circumferential direction, wherein at least one of the middle profile ribs (), which is in particular a profile rib running along the tire equator, is traversed in an axial direction by sipes () with a width (b) of 0.5 mm to 1.2 mm, each of which has a central portion (), in which the sipe () runs with an undulation in the direction of extent thereof, and two lateral portions (). The sipes () extend, in plan view, in an arc shape and symmetrically with respect to the centerline of the profile rib (), and, in the lateral portions () and in the central portion (), have a uniform undulation running in the radial direction, on which the undulation present in the extent direction of the sipes () is superposed only in the central portion () of the sipe ().

A rubber rib extending in the extension direction of a groove is respectively formed in profile element flanks which delimit the groove and each form a different groove wall. The rubber rib formed in one groove wall is formed in a different radial position than the rubber rib formed in the other groove wall. The two rubber ribs each extend over the entire extension length of the profile element flank and each of these two rubber ribs respectively extends along its entire extension length from that profile element flank in which it is formed into the groove in the direction of the other profile element flank up to at least the middle of the groove width in this radial position of the groove and ends there in the groove at a distance from the profile element flanks.

A pneumatic vehicle tire including a utility vehicle tire has a tread with profile positives which are separated from one another in a circumferential direction by transverse channels which extend continuously from the central region of the tread as far as the lateral tread edges, respectively. The transverse channels are main channels of the tread and, at least over the major part of the course thereof, have the maximum provided profile depth. The transverse channels are provided, on the respective channel base thereof, with a row of base elevations formed so as to be distributed over the entire course of the transverse channels. The base elevations are attached to the channel flanks of the transverse channels and are configured such that their rubber volume becomes smaller the closer to the tread edge they are disposed.

A pneumatic vehicle tire, in particular a commercial-vehicle tire, having a one- or multi-ply carcass, a multi-ply belt or breaker and having a profiled tread with grooves formed to a profile depth, wherein the profiled tread is provided at the tire shoulders either with a respective block row () or with a respective profile rib (), wherein the blocks () of the shoulder-side block rows (), or the shoulder-side profile ribs () each have a peripheral edge () laterally delimiting the ground contact patch of the tire, or a shoulder rounding with a radius of up to 30.0 mm, wherein shoulder flank surfaces that extend in a radial direction adjoin the peripheral edges or the shoulder roundings, and wherein, in the case of shoulder roundings, an imaginary section line is defined between an envelope of the tread that is continued beyond the shoulder rounding and the shoulder flank surface that is continued beyond the shoulder rounding. The shoulder flank surfaces are provided, at in particular regular intervals over the tire circumference and within a distance (a) of 1.25 times to 2.5 times the profile depth from the respective peripheral edge () or, in the case of shoulder roundings, from the imaginary section line, with at least one areal recess () having a depth (t) of 0.5 mm to 5.0 mm, which contains ribs () that extend parallel to one another and have a height (h) such that the ribs () do not project beyond the level of the shoulder flank surfaces.
