The invention relates to a decoy () for protecting a fast aircraft () against an incoming threat (), wherein said decoy is non-driven. The decoy () has a squib () on one end and a molded body () on the opening side. If the decoy () has an active material container (), the squib () can be attached to the end side thereof and the molded body () attached to the opening side thereof. The squib () contains a propellant, which is converted into a drive energy. The molded body () is heavier than the decoy () without the molded body () and has the task of preventing the separating of the molded body () to the rear. In addition, the molded body () should be at least 1.0-1.5 times heavier than the decoy itself. Advantageously, however, the molded body () is twice as heavy.

Decoy

A firing device for firing cartridge ammunition comprising a case head, which has on its outer circumference at least one peripheral, groove-shaped depression. In order to achieve secure arrestment of the ammunition in the firing device when the firing device is loaded from the muzzle end, a head piece and a tubular ammunition receiving-device is provided, wherein the ammunition receiving-device is arranged such that it can be moved axially in the direction of the head piece against the pressure of a restoring element. In this case, the head piece includes an annular guiding element, which extends axially into the ammunition receiving-device and has multiple guiding openings, which extend through the wall of the guiding element and are in each case of a form that is angled from the outer side of the guiding element in the direction of the opening of the ammunition receiving-device.

Firing device for firing cartridge ammunition

An activation unit for explosive masses or explosive bodies includes an ejector tube and high-performance heating elements mounted around the ejector tube, each made of at least one heating wire supplied with electrical power by a control unit. Each heating wire is enclosed in a casing and embedded in a material minimizing heat loss. When the explosive body is passed through the activation unit, the jacket surface of the explosive body contacts the individual elements of the activation unit in a direct or non-contact manner. Thermal energy is transferred to the explosive body by means of the heating wires, and the body ignites at the contact points. A further activation unit includes heating elements in the ejector tube, at least partially fed longitudinally through the ejector tube, made of heating wire clad with CrNi steel and contact plates soldered thereto.

Activation unit for explosive masses or explosive bodies

An activation unit () for munitions-free decoys, active masses or active bodies () is characterized by an ejector tube () and a high-powered heater element () arranged around the ejector tube (), wherein the heater element is made up of at least one heating wire (), provided with electrical current by a regulator unit. Each heating wire () is enclosed in a sleeve () and embedded in at least one heat-loss minimizing material. The active body () passing through the activation unit () directly or indirectly contacts with the individual elements () of the activation unit (). Thermal energy is transmitted to the active body () from the heating wires (), which ignites at the touching or contact point.
