An electrical plug connector, comprising a plug connector housing, a locking securement means for locking the electrical plug connector with a corresponding electrical mating plug connector, and a securing element that is displaceable between a pre-latching position and a securing position. The securing element blocks the locking securement means in the securing position to prevent unlocking of the mating plug connector. In a first variant, the electrical plug connector housing forms a lead-in along which the securing element can be displaced into the pre-latching position. In a second variant, the securing element is in the plug connector housing and when the mating plug connector being plugged in, the securing element is mechanically loaded, and a plug connector housing guide guides displacement of the securing element from the pre-securing position into the securing position and the mechanical load is relieved in the displacement.

The invention relates to a contact element () for a connector (), having: an at least partially electrically conductive housing () for connection to an earth conductor () of an electrical cable (), and at least one inner conductor part () for connection to at least one signal lead () of the electrical cable (). In a contact region () of the housing () at the front in the insertion direction, there are at least two resilient tongues (), wherein the resilient tongues () are each secured movably at a first, free end () and immovably at a second end (). There are two groups of resilient tongues (), wherein the resilient tongues () of a first group are arranged such that the free ends () thereof face a front end () of the contact region (), and the resilient tongues () of a second group are arranged such that the free ends () thereof face away from the front end () of the contact region ().

A method for assembling an angled plug connector with a plug connector housing, which has a through channel preferably angled at a right angle in order to receive conductor components extending at an angle relative to one another, wherein a first conductor component introduced from one side (X) into the through channel in the interior of the through channel is connected by non-positive and/or by positive engagement to a second conductor component introduced from the other side (Y) into the through channel. Additionally, an assembly unit for carrying out the method is presented.
