A rotor for a cam phaser, the rotor rotating about a rotation axis and the rotor including a first face; a receiving face arranged opposite to the first face; a central portion; at least one lobe that is arranged at the central portion and which extends away from the central portion in a radial direction; and a cam shaft receiving recess provided at the receiving face and configured to receive a cam shaft, wherein the cam shaft receiving recess includes an inside surface, wherein at least two cam shaft centering elements are arranged at the inside surface for centering the cam shaft, and wherein the cam shaft centering elements are configured as protrusions. The invention also relates to a joining kit.

Rotor for cam phaser with improved geometry

A cam phaser including a stator that is driven by a crank shaft of an internal combustion engine; and a rotor that is connectable torque proof with a cam shaft of the internal combustion engine and that includes plural blades that protrude radially outward from a rotor hub, wherein operating chambers arranged between the stator and the rotor are divided into pressure cavities by the blades, wherein the stator and the rotor are configured as sintered components, wherein displacement recesses are provided on axially configured faces of the stator and/or of the rotor wherein material is configured to flow into the displacement recesses during a deforming finishing of the faces.

Cam phaser

A cam phaser including a rotor; and a stator, wherein the rotor is rotatable relative to the stator, wherein a lobe of the rotor is arrangeable between two bars of the stator, wherein the lobe divides an intermediary space formed between the two bars into a first pressure cavity and a second pressure cavity, wherein a locking device including a spring loaded locking bolt and a locking disc is configured to lock the stator relative to the rotor in an end position, wherein the locking provides a locking clearance for moving the rotor relative to the stator, wherein the locking disc includes a contact element for adjusting the end position.

The invention relates to a rotor for a cam phaser wherein the rotor is provided for a rotation about a rotation axis and includes at least one first vane essentially radially extending away from the rotation axis, wherein a surface of the rotor includes at least one first face, at least one second face that is parallel to the first face, at least one first outer circumferential partial surface of the first vane, wherein a protrusion profile is provided at the surface. The invention also relates to a method for producing the rotor.
