The subscriber station has a communication control device, and a re-integration module for re-integrating the communication control device into a communication on the bus to temporally synchronize the communication control device to a signal transmitted from the at least one other subscriber station of the bus system, which signal is created based on a frame for communication in the bus system. The re-integration module checks at least one predetermined re-integration condition to decide whether the operating mode of the communication control device is or is not to be switched into an operating mode for transmitting frames to the bus and/or for receiving frames from the bus, and uses in its check at least one predetermined re-integration condition having a sequence of bits in which the value of the last bit differs from that of the preceding bits.

Subscriber station for a serial bus system and method for communication in a serial bus system

The symbol duration of the transmit signal and of the encoded transmit signal is identical.

The communication control device generates a transmit signal according to a frame and inserts a field having an edge into the frame after a second communication phase. The field has, before the edge, a predetermined length corresponding to a time period that is longer than the time period of a bit time of a first communication phase. The edge is provided for synchronization to the communication on the bus for a communication control device of the at least one other subscriber station of the bus system whose transceiver device is switched, before the predetermined time period, into an operating mode for transmitting and receiving the frame in the first communication phase.

The subscriber station has a communication control device controlling a communication of the subscriber station with at least one other subscriber station of the bus system and generating a transmit signal. The communication control device generates the transmit signal according to a frame and to insert a field having a rising edge and a subsequent falling edge into the frame for the transition from a first communication phase to a second communication phase. The field has a predetermined length between the rising edge and the subsequent falling edge such that a sampling time at which a communication control device of the at least one other subscriber station of the bus system will sample the first bit of the second communication phase is situated between the rising edge and the subsequent falling edge.

The error detection test device has an evaluation module for evaluating which bit of a signal must be interrupted so that the receivers of the resulting signal in which the at least one bit is interrupted can check the function of an error detection mechanism, the signal being processed by a protocol control unit while the subscriber station is in operation in order to be able to be transmitted as a frame onto a bus of the bus system or, after a frame has been received from the bus, to decode the signal from the frame, and an output terminal for outputting a switching signal to the protocol control unit to interrupt the at least one bit. The changeover feedback block is configured to output the feedback to the communication control device via the second terminal and in the digital reception signal.

The user station includes a communication control device for controlling a communication of the user station with at least one other user station, and a transceiver device to serially transmit a transmission signal, generated by the communication control device, onto a bus, and serially receive signals from the bus. The communication control device generates the transmission signal according to a frame and inserts into the frame two check sums that include different bits of the frame in the computation. The communication control device inserts dynamic stuff bits into the frame in such a way that an inverse stuff bit is inserted into the bit stream of the frame after 5 identical bits in succession. The communication control device computes the two check sums so that a maximum of one of the two check sums includes the dynamic stuff bits in the computation.

The communication control device generates the transmission signal according to a frame in which fields for a header check sum and a frame check sum. The communication control device computes the header check sum from all bits in the header of a frame that is formed for the message, except for fixed stuff bits that have been inserted into the header.

The signal is based on a transmission signal via which a message is exchanged between user stations. The reception block receives, in a first communication phase, the signal using a first reception threshold, and in a second communication phase, receives the signal using a second reception threshold. The device includes an evaluation block for evaluating the signal from the bus using a switchover reception threshold that differs from the first and second reception thresholds, and a reception threshold switching block for the time-limited switchover of the reception threshold of the reception block from the first reception threshold to the second reception threshold when the evaluation block detects the bus level for data of the transmission signal, using the switchover reception threshold in the signal.
