A bi-epitope compound of formula I: in which: E1 and E2, identical or different, each separately represents a peptide sequence including at least one epitope of an analyte; X and Y, identical or different, each separately represents a linking arm, the carrier molecule is soluble and Z represents an amino acid derivative bearing a thiol function prior to the bonding of same with the carrier molecule. The compound may be contained in a composition, used as a control or standard in an immunoassay and associated method, and/or provided in a kit for implementing an immunoassay.

Synthetic bi-epitope compound

An aqueous composition includes (i) glutamate dehydrogenase from a bacterium of thegenus, (ii) a stabilizing compound that is a carboxylic acid having a carbon-based chain of at least three carbon atoms and comprising at least two &#x2014;COOH groups, or a salt thereof, and (iii) any of a monosaccharide polyol, disaccharide polyol, or polymeric macromolecule in addition to the glutamate dehydrogenase. A process for stabilizing the glutamate dehydrogenase in order to maintain antigenic properties of the glutamate dehydrogenase includes stabilizing the glutamate dehydrogenase in the aqueous composition and maintaining the antigenic properties of the glutamate dehydrogenase during storage of the aqueous composition.

Stabilization of glutamate dehydrogenase in an aqueous solution

An immunoassay composition includes at least (i) an amphipol and (ii) a (meth)acrylate monomer-based amphoteric copolymer, some of said monomers including a phosphorylcholine group. The composition is useful in particular as a stabilizer and/or blocking agent.

Reagent diluent

A process for stabilizing glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH) from a bacterium of thegenus, in an aqueous solution, in order to maintain the antigenic properties thereof, includes the step of mixing the glutamate dehydrogenase and a stabilizing composition which is a carboxylic acid having a carbon-based chain of at least 3 carbon atoms and comprising at least 2 &#x2014;COOH groups, or a salt thereof. GDH compositions thus stabilized and a method of detecting the presence of bacteria of thegenus are also disclosed.

The invention relates to novel interfering peptides having peptide sequence S with between 7 and 12 amino acids, originating from the peptide sequence of an antigenic protein of a micro-organism M, the sequence S being aligned with a peptide sequence S' with between 7 and 12 amino acids originating from the peptide sequence of a target protein of a micro-organism M&#x2032; that is different from the micro-organism M, provided that: sequences S and S&#x2032; have at least 50% identity over their length of 7 to 12 amino acids and at least 4 identical or analogous contiguous amino acids; and their length is identical or they have 1 or 2 different amino acids distributed at one and/or the other end of the sequences. The invention also relates to a method for the in vitro immunoassay-based detection of the presence of a micro-organism M&#x2032; or M in a biological sample.
