Remote-controlled flying drone

The invention relates to a rotary-wing drone () comprising a drone body comprising an electronic board controlling the piloting of the drone, a wireless communication module and a plurality of connection arms, the wireless communication module being connected to a communication antenna (), a plurality of propulsion units () mounted at the end of respective connection arms (), and at least one drone body support () adapted to maintain the drone body remote from the ground. The drone body support () comprises an antenna housing () for holding the communication antenna.

A remote control unit carries control keys and possesses in its back face a battery housing with central and peripheral power supply contacts, and also with signal transmission contacts. An active support carries a portion in relief suitable for penetrating into the housing of the unit to take the place of the power supply battery. Two power supply terminals are connected to a power supply line and arranged so as to bear against the respective power supply contacts of the unit when the portion in relief is inserted and locked in the housing of the unit, with the same applying for signal transmission terminals that are arranged on the portion in relief in positions that correspond to the transmission contacts of the unit.

The support () is intended to be fixed in a housing provided in the drone, through a mechanical interface () made of a material absorbing the mechanical vibrations. The mechanical interface, annular in shape, is intended to be attached to a corresponding annular shoulder provided in the housing. A fastening part () for fixing the support in the housing carries the mechanical interface (), with at least one connection leg () supporting the navigation electronic card () and mounted free at one end on the fastening part. A battery () for the power supply of the drone is further accommodated in the support. The navigation electronic card may notably include a navigation sensor () such as an accelerometer, placed on the card in such a manner to be positioned at the barycenter of the drone.
