The present disclosure concerns a system comprising a hearing device and a tool, and the tool itself, for exchanging for example covers and/or filters and/or sealings in/on the hearing device.

Hearing device system and tool

The present disclosure relates to a hearing device having a microphone, where most of the microphone is shielded by an outer shielding of the hearing device. An inlet in the outer shielding allows sound from outside the hearing aid to travel to the microphone to be picked up by it. However, the combination of the microphone and the inlet results in the microphone becoming more sensitive at some audible frequencies. A damping filter positioned in connection with the inlet acts to counter the acoustic effect of the inlet by damping sound in the audible frequency range, where the microphone has increased sensitivity.

The present disclosure concerns a hearing device () with improved sealing and providing easy exchange of for example covers and/or filters and/or sealings in/on the hearing device.

A hearing device includes: a housing with a frame; a battery door attached to the housing and configured to pivot in relation to the housing about a pivot axis, the battery door having a side wall with a first wall surface at least partly defining a battery compartment with a battery axis, the first wall surface comprising contact points for supporting a battery, the contact points having equal distances to the battery axis, wherein a first vector extends from the battery axis and perpendicularly crosses the pivot axis in a first direction to the pivot axis; and a closure mechanism comprising a protruding member with a distal end, and an engagement member having a first arm with a first distal end, wherein the protruding member is configured to engage with the engagement member when the battery door is in a closed position.

A closure member and a hearing device are disclosed. The hearing device comprising a housing; a battery door attached to the housing and configured to pivot in relation to the housing about a pivot axis; closure member attached to the housing and having a first closure arm with a first distal end; the battery door comprising a closure device comprising a first primary closure element configured to engage with the first closure arm when the battery door is in a closed position, wherein the first closure arm is flexible such that the first distal end displaces in a first direction when the battery door is moved from an open position to the closed position.
