An assembly for a hearing aid is disclosed. The hearing aid with the assembly includes an in the ear part and a behind the ear part and a part mechanically interconnecting the two parts. In the interconnection, a flexible substrate is arranged. The flexible substrate includes conductive paths. The conductive paths may be used for communication between the in the ear part and the behind the ear part, and/or for an antenna function.

A method of current management in a battery powered device includes the steps of (a) comparing the actual supply voltage from the battery with a fixed reference voltage, (b) generating a control signal whenever the supply voltage is below the reference voltage, (c) using the control signal to reduce the load current in the battery powered device, whereby the supply voltage from the battery will increase, and (d) repeating steps a, b and c as long as the supply voltage is below the reference voltage. A current management system is provided that, when used within a hearing aid, will allow very high load currents and thereby high sound pressure levels to be obtained from the hearing aid. This is achieved without having severe problems with the reduced battery voltage when the battery approaches the end of its lifetime and/or if the air flow within the battery becomes insufficient.

Method of current management in a battery powered device and battery powered device

The invention relates to a method for reducing feedback caused by electromagnetic interference between an induction coil and an output transducer, a voltage supply or an amplifier or a combination thereof, the method comprising: producing by means of a filter an equivalent of an electromagnetic feedback path in a system with a pickup coil and subtraction of the equivalent of the feedback signal from the input signal in order to obtain feedback reduction. The invention further relates to a device for implementing the method, the device comprising an induction coil and an output transducer, voltage supply or an amplifier or a combination thereof. The device further comprises filter means for generating an equivalent of an electromagnetic feedgack signal occurring between the induction coil and an output transducer, a voltage supply or an amplifier or a combination thereof and means for subtracting the equivalent from an input signal in order to obtain feedback reduction.
